I wasn't sure how far it was distributed and I thought it may have only been a Western Canada thing.

I'm not sure if it's even still available. Its reason for being certainly still exists...

Hi Patrick I’m sure it is still around...I think I saw some at Wally-mart. I had read the original company was sold and then the new buyer went bankrupt...but the prior CEO got it back and has restarted it....not sure where it sits now in 2022.

It seems the Jolt drink had a bit of a topsy tipsy life and finally died around March 2019.

There was lots of it here in Ontario we used to drink it on the all night drives between cities traveling. When we were 20/30 something wouldn’t recommend that for months on end.

min the 80s they used to sell boxes of caffeine pills in drug stores called ‘wakeups’. Back when we were young.

Was movie day last night ... we caught the early show of Bob’s Burgers....not anywhere never the tv show in humour...I would rate it as “poor”. To add insult to injury when we got home we watched “ Interceptor” on Netflix. It would give Ishtar a run for its money as most dreadful film....it’s production, scripting, and acting...not to mention continuity provided more laughs than Bob’s Burgers...

As far as great bands goes something occurred to me a few years ago. I'm not sure if it was my idea or whether I heard it somewhere. It first occurred to me about great athletes but could be applied to anything: You know you are in the presence of greatness if the one you're watching takes a thing which you know to be difficult/impossible and makes it easy.

When I teach drums that’s precisely what I teach. I focus on showing the student how to get out of his/her way and make it easier to play. It really is, about that.

Greatness is making the difficult look easy….but buried in there somewhere is hours of learning fundamentals….whether it’s music or math….when the basics become second nature you are on your way.

Practice is the prerequisite. “Showing up” I call it. If you don’t show up, well it’s dead in the water. Often we mistakenly say, well this one is ‘talented’ or ‘has a gift’, perhaps there’s a wee bit of truth to it maaaaaybeeee, but overall I disagree with this notion. The right teacher will show you how to practice effectively, and dive much deeper into what you are doing and how.

It’s funny, but the older I get the more I am beginning to resent technology...it’s not an “old-timer” thing....but i’ve noticed more and more we are de-skilling ourselves.
