hmm. on both my pc and higher end mac, i had typically used firefox, while safari was my main browser on my lower end mac. firefox is a great browser, with plenty of support and addons, but recently i have almost completely switched to using opera, with sparadic use of firefox. i have taken a pretty strong liking. i had only used safari because it was a whole lot easier on my slower processor, but the different ad blocking solutions i tried just didn't cut it, so eventually i began using opera. it has a pretty handy ad blocking tool, and panels are great. you can also integrate it pretty well with gaim. i really don't see safari as the great web browser which apple hypes it to be.

I think IE was put on the Mac just to remind us all about how much MS software really blows.

I do, however, like MS Office, they did a nice job.

What? and what?

I'm a recent switcher to Mac, and haven't run into IE on my machine! Is it preloaded? Say it isn't so!

I may have switched to Mac OS, but NEVER will I use MS Office. Have you USED Corel Office?

IE came on the older machines as default due to a deal between apple and microsoft.

also, MS Office is a great, well done program. i really love it. my only problem with it is the price. and therefore use neooffice :)

safari is first, with firefox a close second..

let me ask... are you using safari cause you like it, or because it's apple?

Im finding safari to be slower than camino, and wont work on some sites that camino and firefox works fine on..

safari is annoying me.

Give Avant Browser a try.
Was the best tabbed browser for several years - though I have not kept up with it for the last year or so now.
Also has a Roboform plug in.

This was my favorite for for a long time and probably why I favor Opera on my Mac.
