Assuming this is a Firefox bookmark, not a Safari, go to Manage Bookmarks in the menu bar and try making a right-click copy and pasting it in the proper place.

Firefox should accept it as a duplicate, after which you can delete the original. But if it won't accept it as a duplicate, copy the URL from the problem bookmark, paste the URL in a TextEdit doc or somewhere else to save it just in case, then try a right-click cut and paste instead of copying it.

That did it! Thanks!

Firefox all the way!!!!
i tryed it on my PC laptop and have never gone back..
The Ad Block is shear genius!!!!
Also the way the address bar is seamlessly intergrated with google is soo handy...
If people dont know wot i mean try it..
Example:
type in: apple uk support
it'll bring up the uk based official apple support site...

It's great for little things like this..

Also if you have watched the WWDC7 video steve Jobs explains how Safari3 is the fastest browser out.. "THAT'S VERSION 3 NOT THE CURRENT!!!!"
but firefox is only a tiny bit behind it on everything steve jobs shows comparing the 4 most popular browsers.. and mentions the boom in Firefox users..

I now have it on my mac's and it runs just as good...

There is a BETA version of Safari3 available for download on the apple site..
But Firefox seems to out preform it...
Try it if you want but i'm sticking to firefox...
I'll try safari3 again wen a 1.0.0 version comes out..

p.s. Discerptor that is an awesome avatar!!!!

15" 2.8ghz MBP6,2(4gb) | 20" iMac | 1.8 & 2.0 Mini(4gb) | iPhone4 | iPad-4Wifi
I am really torn at this right now.

My situation is:
- Safari bookmarks sync with iPhone
- Firefox syncs with my windows desktop
- Safari is on windows, but no .mac sync of bookmarks(?)
- Firefox has FTP plugin
- Firefox has Wordpress plugin
- Firefox allows me to click the open area next to a tab and it opens a new tab(Safari requires <ctrl><click>) dumb

If I could get my FoxMarks sync file to my iPhone I would use FireFox

When i first moved to Macs i started to use Firefox as i'd always used it on my PC....Now i far prefer the Camino browser,I know it's made by Mozilla the same people who make FF but it just loads a lot quicker for me than all the others...
I do use Safari a lot as well,But as to Opera and all the others including Omniweb...I just can't get them to work as quick as Camino..

Since I've had my Macbook, I've been using Safari. Downloaded the beta on Windows, didn't like it much but getting quite used to it on Mac!

However, the thing that does annoy me a little is that javascript doesn't seem to work perfectly (an example is I'm clicking a link that directs me to a specific post in a thread on vBulletin... in IE it takes me to the post in it, in Safari it just takes me to the top of thread. Guessing that's javascript anyway!)

I'd like the record to show that I also use Firefox, but Safari is my primary browser.
