Your Mac's Specs
iMac (27 inch, Late 2012), Processor: Core i5, Memory: 16GB 1333 Mhz DDR3 running MacOS Catalina
Its funny to see how there are so many Browsers on the net. To me, on the PC I used to like using Netscape rather than the conventional IE. Why??? It was that fast, but it was stable. After a while I just used IE for a while, because some techie friends of mine said it was better. They soon learned the error of their ways... .

Opera was my next choice and then I went in for Firefox. Kept switching between the 2 until I bought my mac. Then I was on Safari all the way. But found out some sites weren't rendering as they should. I then downloaded Opera and used it off and on...

After seeing this thread, I gave Firefox a try and I think whoever voted for Firefox in pole, did the right thing. Its the best

Firefox FTW!!!!

P.S. Safari ain't that bad either... the latest versions are so nice.

Tried it and passed

Tried Safari, and it's okay, but I like Firefox better. Safari just seems too minimalist for me. I've just switched to mac after two decades of being a dedicated MS user, and I need a little bloat in my browser to feel comfortable.

just switched back to safari after using firefox for about 3 years. i'll see how i like it. tab browsing was the only reason i switched to begin with so, no that it's available on safari, cool!

and you can copy / paste the bookmarks from firefox to safari so the switch was easy.

The uninstaller is in the .dmg file you downloaded from apple; Apple includes both an installer and an uninstaller.

I use IE on my Windows partition and Safari on Mac. I hate to say it but the new IE seems like it flys through everything, unlike Safari which lags a little at first. A little disappointing...

I haven't tried Safari 3 yet, is it any faster?
