Just came across this little gem and have had an amusing 30 mins reading the posts. I live on the north coast of Northern Ireland out in the countryside but within a short driving distance of the Giants Causeway, The Dark Hedges and many other locations made too famous by the Game of Thrones series. The area is so popular we stay home all summer as the towns are packed with tourists and during the winter, weather permitting take back control and enjoy what nature kindly gifted us.

Good morning Ian, I’m Rp.....nice to hear from you. Ah yes, tourist sites... before we moved to Windsor we were looking around a place called Niagara on the Lake, a small town on The Niagara Frontier......very close to Niagara Falls...in the summer you can’t move in that town...so...we didn’t locate there...I can sense your pain in this regard. Welcome to the Inn.

Good morning all, sunny and warmer in Windsor today....but rain is on the horizon.

Today we have our famous Light Roast with a kiss of licorice..... and to nosh on our warm Butter Toffee Scones...yum.

Question of the day..... Is the glass half full or half empty.....

This reminds me if you have an opinion it’s called “ putting your two cents in”, but people ask “ a penny for your thoughts”....just wondering where the extra penny went.....but not in Canada as our Mint doesn’t stamp them out any more.....just my two cents......

Went to a wedding in Niagara on the Lake and stayed in the town in 2011; November so not too busy. Picture postcard place. 7DAD81FA-A374-467A-A41B-9301FC35ECA0.jpeg

My wife and I visited there many years ago. Had a lovely afternoon tea in the Prince of Wales (pictured). Niagara on the Lake is a very attractive little town!

Quite agree. Went there with my wife in 1976, again in 1985 and a couple of years after; can't exactly remember the dates.

Good morning all, a bit cooler here today but not bad for early April.
To take the chill out we have our famous Rummed Hot Chocolate, and to nosh on warm Cinnamon Rolls...my favourite.

In a maybe it’s the wine moment... if electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

Speaking of which..... I’ve often believed that the key to success is sincerity....once you learn how to fake that you can get anything.

Busy day yesterday, another today, even though cases are rising if still seems nice to be able to go out a bit more normally even with masks (or not) and see people.

Might do something crazy like go to a restaurant later. I’ve reached the end of my cooking skills lately. I need to learn some new tricks.

Always nice to go to a restaurant... I could drop some recipes here for you...but going to a restaurant would be much nicer.

We are a bit leery here as we’ve had so many cases so....you do what you can. Yesterday I had my fourth shot of Pfizer.... man it has really hit me today....which is strange as the first three didn’t bother me at all.

Great idea. Why not? Go for it.

Big mistake to admit you have any :) :smile:wink

Act daft. Look lost in a jungle of recipes. Someone is there to help you:smile:rofl

Ian, it’s like the camel in the tent....once you peel a potato you’re soon making the whole roast....

I have a zillion recipes, but the skill level, well I’m much much better than the start of this whole thing. I am the cook of the house so looking confused means doordash. :)

We’ve avoided restaurants mostly but have been a go a few, we’re just mindful that about everyone we know has been infected of late, so just being careful.

I don’t blame you....our mantra is “everyone has it and can give it to you”.... so we still mask and social distance.
