I use Firefox on my PC. It's just recently started crashing quite often. It seems to happen only when i change videos on you tube and then the Mozilla closes and the crash reporter pops up. Any know what's up?

My first choice is Firefox-Because of its add-ons

Second is Safari - Its graphical interface is good,a site looks much Good and then any other browser. One more thing I like the the developer menu(containing web inspector, error console snippet editor etc)which is useful for a web designer like me .

and then Chrome,Opera and then last Internet Explorer respectively.

I have a desktop that I triple boot Wintendo, Ubuntu Linux, and PCBSD. I have a PC laptop that I boot PCLinuxOS and Wintendo. And now I have a new Macbook Pro... :))
I use Firefox on all OS's, because I can use Xmarks to sync the bookmarks of every machine. Besides, I fell in love with FF years ago and can't imaging using a browser that I can't customize.
I do also use Opera sometimes on the BSD machine; it has even fewer security issues than FF, so I pay bills online there.
IE? Why did M$ even bother porting it to the Mac???

I haven't had that problem, but I believe an addon called "download statusbar" allows you to pause and resume downloads. Give it a try.

Safari primary browser but occasionally use Opera and FF. I love the fact you can have two webpages in the same window in Opera.

Safari for me, it's simple, elegant, and fast. Although sometimes I use Internet Explorer, but I don't like it that much. And I rarely use Mozilla Firefox.

I use Safari on the Mac, but Firefox on Windows (due to Safari being a buggy POS on Windows). I don't use Firefox on the Mac because I have no problems with Safari, so I didn't feel the need to switch, and I've seen Firefox on my friend's iMac and it really doesn't look any faster. But that was just an eye comparison, so it may be, I don't know.

I use Safari 4 on my Mac. I used to use Camino a lot due to it being the fastest rendering browser I could find for my slow connection, but I've since upgraded my connection, and I find the features in Safari are a lot better than they used to be and it is just as quick as Camino :)

I was using Firefox on my MacBook pro exclusively until about a week ago. Decided to give Safari a try and I've been extremely impressed to the point where I now have no intention of going back to Firefox. I find Safari significantly faster and more convenient to use. I'm still learning some of the features, but everything I've been discovering has been an improvement over Firefox.

I have used Safari, Firefox, and Opera as my default browsers at different times, but I constantly go back to Safari because I like the design. I like Opera's interface and features, but it just doesn't work well with streaming video sites, such as YouTube, because it doesn't show any part of a web page until it is fully loaded, and therefore doesn't show the video I am trying to watch. I do wish Safari had some kind of a sidebar, though.
