Okay....here is a one click method to highlighting the address bar in Safari 4 Beta. Click the "Favicon" icon in the address bar. That is the little icon on the far left of the address bar. This will highlight the entire address bar. You can also drag it into the Mail icon or and iWork icon or drag it into a new tab.

I liked Chrome on Windows- fast and minimal. Only started using Safari when i got my (first) Mac 2 days ago. Seems ok but I'm looking forward to the Mac Chrome release.

Chrome needs to be added to the list, I am sure its more popular than IE.

Do remember there is no Google Chrome for OSX as yet. I am sure when Chrome is released it will be added to the list and discussion.

I don't dare to use Safari after all its alleged security flaws. But Firefox seems ok. I'm quite familiar with that browser, as I have been using Linux for a couple of years. I have also used Opera, but I feel it's a bit slower than Firefox

Safari 4 should be faster when we are able to upgrade to Snow Leopard. Am I correct?

I use Firefox on my pc and always have, I hate IE, and Safari I also use on my pc. But I like both Firefox and Safari depending what websites I am looking at.

Since things have changed since I posted here I will do an update.

I use Safari 4 here for 95% of everything and keep Firefox and Opera there as a backup. That is on OSX.

On Windows I really like Safari 4 but have not messed with it that much on the Windows box. Normally in Windows I use Firefox and Opera.
