Which web browser do you use?

I'm using Safari on my Macbook but I just noticed that it's not viewing a webpage the same as IE on my PC laptop.

Here's the page - Bengal Rescue Network, a 501c3 Corporation

Just curious to see if others are having the same issue. On IE, I can see links on the horizontal bar directly under the Bengal Rescue Network name.

On Safari, I can only see the horizontal bar and no links. You should be able to see: Home Adoption Surrender Volunteer Educational Links

I guess I'm wondering if I should install another browser. Is this a bug in Safari or is it just not compatible to some websites' coding. I've always used IE (which I pretty much hate) and I'm new to Macs.

Guys, honestly the best web browser is Omniweb, nothing compares to its speed, Firefox is a slave compared to this mess.

yea i use safari and firefox depending on what I am doing...but there are a few others I am testing out. Just not sure if any are as secure as FF and Safari.

Mainly Firefox, though I'll switch to Opera every now and then. I only ever open up Safari to edit bookmarks that'll be synced back to my iPhone.

I would use Safari except it doesn't work with my school email (for some odd reason). Plus, I have come to heavily depend on the Speed Dial extension (I realize this is built into Opera).

I would also use Opera but it renders my school's page incorrectly which makes it pretty useless.

Three web browsers!

I use three, actually - Safari, Firefox, and Opera. I said I use Safari because I use it BY FAR the most. The other two are just mainly there for backup.

I just got Safari 4 BETA and it is amazing! You know that "Speed Dial" add-on for Firefox? That's also built-in to Opera? It's built right in to the new Safari as well! If you use Safari, I would at least try the new version.

Safari 4 beta!
Not a fan of Safari 3, but the beta seems to be crazy fast compared to FF or the last Safari. Apple has definitely improved.

I'm liking Safari 4 Beta. I've run into some issues with font size and top sites, but it's still beta. I'm confident they'll be fleshed out. I certainly won't miss FF crashing.

I've been using Opera quite a bit lately and I have to say I like it. The application itself is faster than the other browsers and rendering/loading speed is comparable to Safari.

My only problem lies in the way it renders some pages.

I got my macbook about 2 weeks ago and I've been using safari....nothing wrong with it so far, I still use firefox on my pc though cause IE sucks as

Hi
I am a newbie here and have a question.
I switched to Macs...an iMac and a Macbook pro.... about 10 months ago and i love them. However, on 3 occasions I have had incidents where Safari doesn't work...two in the past week!! On one Firefox worked well, another it worked well enough but on this third occasion....and of course the most important LOL...neither works. The site I wanted said that it only worked with IE. Can you download and use IE on a Mac?
If so how well does it function?
I would be grateful for any advice.

Not unless you get a really old version. What website is it? Sometimes it will require a certain browser but will allow you to continue anyway. If you can't, you could spoof your user agent string which will be different process depending on the browser you use (trick websites into thinking you are using a particular browser).
