Mac has programs that emulate Windows, it is only due time. Most people want a mac but are worried about paying alot of money for something they may hate because they know nothing about, hundreds of people have emulated it and within a month went out and purchased a mac. That is the main reason to emulate a mac at this time....

Yup! :mac:

Yet another USELESS thing trying to copy Mac OS that just slows windows down :mad: and its far worse than Aqua (Aqua RULESSSS)

Example of how CHEAP some windows users are : http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,63256,00.html

They copy the GUI, but won't even buy a freakin Mac! :eek:

Well looks can fool people, but when it gets a BSOD, people will realise!

A recently released theme for XP that looks like the Jaguar iteration of OS X was downloaded 50,000 times

Now they're even trying to EMULATE Mac OS X!!!!!!!!
like its not bad enough that theyre stealing ideas off tiger to integrate into longhorn and push it further and further away, by the time the get something right and decide to release tiger, itll be just an xp sp3.

Heh I like windows and mac, although my career is with Microsoft. You guys have no idea what you are complaining about, Longhorn is going to have many features you didn't think were possible yet. Also if there are any developers here they will tell you how strong the new development platform is, lets face it, its not the OS but it is the developers for 3rd party applications that make the os. That is the only reason windows wins right now...

In PCWorld they stated "Fast User Switching

The always-available prompt in the menu bar is quicker to access than Windows XP's log-on screen (which also allows fast user switching), and the rotating 3D desktop is undeniably cool."

How do you find or activate the rotating 3D Desktop???

Its automatic. All you need to do is activate fast user switching in the Users section in System Preferences and have 2 or more accounts. now, when logged in, in any account, use the top right corner of the screen to change to another user. presto!

Here is my typical desktop. Given the limited real estate on the 12" PB when I am at the office or home I usually have a second monitor hooked up. (A 15" at the office and a 19" at home.) I don't have a problem when on the road but the extra space never hurts.

Not sure why I opened QuickSilver for the screen shot but there you go.

how do I take a screen shot in Jaguar? I want to get my blueberry iBook 'before' picture uploaded so that when I get my new iBook I'll have a comparison. ^^;

<CMD><SHIFT>3 will save your screen as a PDF on your desktop. You can then export it as a JPEG if you prefer that format. It makes it easier to view on the web if nothing else.

EDIT: Not sure if that works in Jaguar though, did not catch that till I posted. Sorry.

I still want to know who made it? No matter who is in the screenshot, it looks cool. I wish, I could make something like that if the wallpaper was made from scratch.
