Go see the doctor tomorrow REGARDLESS as to whether it is better or not. Frankly you'd do well to go to a local emergency care facility or emergency room RIGHT NOW. Don't mess with your eyes.

I think I'll be ok. I'm a soldier, I'm tough!;D I can't go tomorrow anyway, I have a lot of stuff to do. I'm getting my house in the city ready to sell.

All the more reason to take care of yourself. I grok as I'd probably be as reluctant to go as you, but you should still go anyway. Take care of yourself!

My eye is killing me! I made a stupid decision and started a quick Dremel job without safety goggles. While I was working this piece of wood it started smoldering, broke off and hit me in the eye. Luckily it cauterized the the eyelid but unluckily it did some damage the the tear duct as well. Now my eye won't stop leaking.:( If it's not better by Friday I guess I will go to the doctor. Here is a link to a pic I took with my iPhone right after it happened.

BABARNETTE, WHY ARE YOU CRYING?!?!!?!
lol.
I hate it when I have something in my eye (it's usually an eyelash) and people ask me why i'm crying.

Anyway, I always get irritated with my dad for never answering his cell phone, and i usually ALWAYS answer mine once every like 5 years when someone calls me lol, anyway, the next day after having huge argument about (Not answering) the cell phones, he calls me and I totally don't even hear my phone ring, which is weird because I was right next to it.

Anyway, the whole phone situation is really annoying. It sounds minor, but it's one of those little things that puts everyone in a horrible mood.

My parents both have Nextel, and I have a Virgin, and although VM uses Sprint, I find that I have way better service and call quality than Nextel.
Anyway, whenever I need a ride from my parents before/after a movie or party or something I never really KNOW what time everything is going to be all said and done. I like to have every last second to talk to people, I HATE being the first one gone, and I never plan things I just get invited to them. I usually call my mom and tell her she can come pick me up, but it's so irritating because her phone has the WORST SERVICE!
Look at Nextel coverage map, it's HORRIBLE. Hardly even covers my area!
Me personally I have a $10/1000text plan so I hardly EVER talk on the phone, i'd love to just send texts so it doesn't take out of my airtime or my SM minutes, but my parents haven't jumped on the text messaging bandwagon yet. So half of the time I call them their phones don't even go through it just goes straight to voicemail, the other half when they answer it's like
HI(CLICK CRACKLE CRACKLE STATIC NOISES CHHHHHHHH)
call dropped.
It's SO annoying.
I'm always in the middle of town so I usually have 2 or 3 bars, but not them.
It's SO annoying.
I cannot express how annoying it is.
My mom wants to switch, but she doesn't. Everyone at her work uses the 2way (They all 2way each other and usually the end up talking about how much the phones suck as the signal is cutting out) and it never works so it's basically pointless. And my mom is convinced that $49.99 for 1,000 anytime minutes is a great deal since her plan is from 4 year ago. I tried to tell her that Alltel (One of the best carriers in my area) has that same plan, but apparently she's not budging.

Anyway,

What should I get my mom for her birthday?!?!!??!?!(GASP)

It's on saturday. I think i'm taking her to see Copacabana but I don't know what to get her.
I know she wants an MP3 player, so i'll get my dad to order her one.
I'd get her an iPod but my whole money situation isn't great.
(I checked the bank account I had saving money up to get her a mothers ring, and found it mysteriously EMPTY!!!!!!     )

And I took a nap today after school.....feels HORRIBLE. Apparently naps are all the rage amongst the younger generation, but I hate it! It feels like waking up in the morning all over again.

Well since people are busy writing their blog posts here, I thought I'd post mine in as well :)

I have forever been in love with Goa. Since a very young age, I have held pride for my state even more than for the country. And from what I remember, it has been a relatively clean state. Everything was green all over and the roads were lined with coconut trees. There just a few billboards here and there.

Of course, now there's not an inch of free space left on the sides of the roads especially from the airport right up to Mapusa. Billboards all over the place. Somehow, the Mapusa to Calangute road had still been left untouched. No billboards at all. Then some idiot decided to put a Spykar-Jeans billboard right before one takes the turn into my lane. I've been ticked off since the day I saw it. And have been planning to 'take it down' ever since.

Yesterday I bought a litre of orange paint. Yep. Time for some action. The plan was to fill up paint in baloons, and trash them on the board since it was too high up. Unfortunately, the baloons that Bling got today were extremely old and were just tearing. Anyway, charged up as we were, we filled paint into glass bottles, and at 4 a.m., the popats headed out to the spot by bikes.

The parties involved: (The legendary) Pomphret, Jean the Van Damme (dutch national), daw!zard, Bling and yours truly, Michael.

The mission was successful. I think we made an impact on the extremely large billboard. Orange paint all over the girl's white pants. And exciting as ****. Cause the dogs were barking all over, street light directed at the billboard. A house right behind the board. We didn't get right up to touch the spykar logo though, which we have planned on hitting soon with good quality baloons... till next time.

I think Tanners posts are interesting. I usually keep mine pretty short and to the point, seeing as how I have 4 bars of rep and 1800 some posts :p

Okay, so how does the whole cross eyed thing work?
People always say they sort of go cross eyed after being on the computer a lot or looking at a lot of texts, i've never really understood that.
Maybe it's an LCD thing.......i wouldn't know HA.

Sometimes my eyes feel like they naturally cross. I can't really see anything anymore. I just got my glasses in January so my vision probably hasn't changed, I just can't focus on things. You know how a camera focuses and it gets sort of blurry then it gets clear after it hunts a bit?
I feel like that's what my eyes have to do, it gets REALLY frustrating after a while.

Well I hope everyone had a good week, it's officially Friday right now and I'm so thrilled for that. I'm done with school for the summer!! I got everything finished and most of the stuff moved out of my apartment today. I'm going back Saturday to get the rest.

Monday I'm leaving to drive 15-16 hours to start my internship. I'm pretty excited to say the least. I get to live with my aunt for the summer. I have a feeling about half-way through I will start wanting my friends to come visit me, but most of them don't have enough money to buy a plane ticket. Oh well, I will see them once again come August. After that it's one more semester of school and then off to the real world!

That's great Todd, but trust me when I say this... the real world isn't all that great. ;D

I'm taking 2 summer courses. My friends have told me that they will destroy me. I'll see how it goes.

I just saw the new iMac's, and holy cow... I want one so bad.

I also agree, I do love the new iMacs. When I get my first salary paid job though, I will be buying a nice LCD HDTV. Probably around 37-40 inches. After that I'll look into a new iMac. :)

Well folks, it is Friday afternoon again. TGIF! I am bushed. I was out late last night with friends and then had a 7:00 AM meeting I had to be at this morning. I only got a few hours sleep last night and I very, very ready for this day to be over!

Have a great weekend everyone!!

mac57, sounds like you had a rough day, hopefully you weren't too hung over for your meeting this morning. :)
