Ugh, I feel for you, I have to do ALL of my laundry tonight, which takes about 4 hours. This is my least favorite part of the week.

Good luck with that Pink, I just finished mine, it took me most of the afternoon. Just in time for the Cub/Cardinal game this evening. I'm thinking of going over and watching it with my grandpa.

Well I believe I'm going to go shower and head out. I hope everyone has had a good Friday! What is everyone else doing tonight?

Indeed I did. Got the day off work, saw the missus, and got my "crib" set up all nice.

I'll probably wind up playing GTA IV or Rock Band if none of the guys have any plans. I haven't eaten dinner yet either. I really ought to fix that.

Darn. I have this credit card that's just like "Hey Derek, you need food buddy. You know, this is like FREE MONEY!!!", and I'm like "You're a credit card. You lack a mouth, vocal cords, or a vocabulary. Shut up."

Probably hot dogs and Ramen again.

Man I would really like to play GTA IV, but as a college student, I lack the money for a nice TV and PS3.

I have also been eating out way too much since I'm in the middle of moving. I don't want to go out and buy a lot from the grocery store and let it go to waste.

I LOVE RAMEN.
AMEN TO RAMEN.
Although if I ate them enough i'd probably hate them.

I went to see Copacabana again today, well Iguess it was yesterday.
I'm going today at 7 because i'm taking my mom to see it for her birthday.

I never get tired of that.

Sweet Heaven i'm in love again......

Anyway....yeah so like i said today is my moms birthday. She's pretty excited about turning 39, only because a year from now they'll let her get BILATERAL KNEE REPLACEMENTS! HIP HIP HORRAY.
OR SHOULD I SAY, KNEE KNEE...REPLACEMENTS!
She has no cartilage in her knees, she has to get chicken cartilage injected in there. Weird!

And this might sound weird but i can't wait for 48 hours mystery tonight!

nothing wrong with ramen. ;)

if you can afford to go get yourself a few "extras" to keep on hand, all the better.

try adding any of the following in various quantities:
- garlic (actual garlic, powder or the little dried bits - just not garlic salt)
- left over wine throw a little in the pan first, cook off some of the alcohol, maybe throw in some of the next ingredient...)
- onions (flakes, real onion, but again, not onion salt)
- steak 'ums (cooked. or any other leftover meat)
- red pepper flakes (or cayanne pepper dust / chili powder)
- cumin (not too much or it will taste like watered down chili)
- black pepper
- butter (trust me, it makes a world of difference, and none of that fake butter nastiness - really does a job of helping deliver the other flavors and heat if you add any)
- olive oil (same as butter, just healthier and has a different flavor)
- tabasco or other hot sauce
- sugar (seriously, if you add some of the hot ingredients especially, add like a 1/4 tsp of sugar and it takes a bit of the edge off)
- lemon juice (just a smidge)
- veg (i like adding a bit of frozen broccoli with the noodles, if you make a lot of broccoli, it's probably better to cook separate, maybe even drain most of the ramen water before adding noodle to veg. should work similarly with other frozen/fresh veg with short cooking times - peas, cauliflower, spinach, lima beans, etc)

have fun. :)

Good morning! It's around 8:50 AM here. It's a sunny day and I'm working from home. At the moment I'm connected to work via VPN on a split tunnel. I'm using Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) on my MB to connect to my work PC, and I'm using RDC on my work PC to connect to a Windows server that runs an application I need to access. I'm also using Chicken of the VNC to access the Linux lab machines where I have a long job running.

I'm listening to radio station smoothjazz.com via iTunes, soon to switch to XM channel Audio Visions for Hearts of Space.

I love my little MacBook. :D

WOW you guys are very exquisite with your Ramen Noodles!
WOW.
RamenNoodle-Forums.com?

I always microwave my Ramen....If I had time to cook them on the stove, lets face it...I wouldn't be eating Ramen in the first place.

I just got a SWEET deal.
Anyone else got any sweet deals anywhere lately?
I feel a fun pointless thread a-cookin'.

Today we presented my mom with her BRAND NEW BICYCLE.
lol, she wanted one for a really long time. She doesn't have the knees for it, but she still loves bike riding. The rides are pretty short, but worth it. I feel bad because her knees prevent her from doing a lot of the things that she loves, things like....walking without excruciating pain.

It's amazing how she can keep on truckin' day in and day out from 4AM to like 3:59AM the next day.

My mom is COOL.

Paintball is awesome, I used to play back when I was in the 8th grade. I don't play anymore though since my friends aren't into it at all.

Last weekend was the first time in almost 2 years I've played. I almost sold my gun about a month ago. Glad I didn't now.

Those were awesome too, good memories with my brother, bored in the winter having Nerf wars.

Man, I really can't seem to force myself to go to sleep tonight. I have to wake up early and go to church with my parents and I am just sitting here listening to music.

I too am up listening to music. I've been up for, eh, for a long time. (-_^) I'll sleep late; it's my only day to do so. I'm definitely a night person.

Well, just got back from church and eating breakfast. My parents decided that they are going to let me take their Garmin when I leave to travel tomorrow. I started messing around with it, and now I want one..it's so cool!
