What do you like to do todd51?
Do you like to read? I'm not talking about "studying" reading, but pleasure reading. There's a wealth of books you can read for free online. There's
Project Gutenberg that has all manner of cool books. There's your local library through which you might lose yourself for an afternoon.
I know you're in Illinois, but don't know where. If you're in or near Chicago, there must be lots of activities happening throughout the city and 'burbs. Check out free concerts. Oooh, galleries too sometimes can be fun. When was the last time you walked the city? Check out the weekend section of your local newspaper, and if you have an arts type city tabloid paper, check that out. For example, DC has the Washington City Paper, an "alternative" paper that has listings for many activities. LA has LA Weekly. I just checked - Chicago has the Chicago Reader.
If you're in more of a rural area, there's always walks or bike rides. Look at things along the way. Go explore.
What about project where you've always said, "I don't have enough time to do it." Guess what? Here's the time. Do a little one weekend, more the next, and work at it over time.
I grok boredom. I remember it from years ago. ^_^ Still, corny as it may sound, it's pretty neat your mom took you grocery shopping. If you get along well with your parents and they get along well with you, that's really a cool thing. Enjoy it.
