I've just returned empty handed from the Apple re-seller in my local town 
They of Course didn't have a family pack... Typical It was just the same with iLife 08........ Still I got to play with Leo and was suitably impressed.
What with The coverflow finder, and quick look Soon I won't know if I'm in iTunes or the Desktop... Still ... I'll wait Again
I liked the new Automator... I'll look forwards to that ;D oh yes and to reading all your Upgrade stories...

Todd, sorry about the girl troubles but I have to agree with the latter of the replies.

How is everybody. I got a good gash on my knee, it really hurts, but the odd thing is it didn't hurt at all when it happened. I tripped on a blunt rock and fell on a sharp one!

The upgrade failed miserably, Leopard refused to boot after the upgrade completed. Good news though, I rebooted to the install DVD and chose archive and install option and it worked fine. I didn't loose anything so the backup I made didn't have to be used.

Good morning everyone! Hope all are well.
Congrats babarnette on getting through the install!
I upgraded my avatar, sig, and sig image.
Last night was D&D, and it went great! Eventually. I drove out to the game, ~30 mi (~45km) from work (and home too, btw). Despite the heavy rain and low visibility, the drive was otherwise fine. I arrived and started setting up, and then we lost power. Ugh. Until we had flashlights and candles going, one of the other guys and I were using our cell phones for light. Yes, the iPhone works fairly well as a light. Anyway, we eventually moved to another player's house nearby, and played for the next four hours. After playing now for 2 1/2 years, I'm finally Getting It. I'm finally figuring out how to do things. I've also gotten to the point where now I actually have a better understanding of a couple rules than the other guys, who btw have been playing for many years. It really came together last night in a way it never had previously. It was fun!
Well, I need to get back to work. Enjoy the day!
