Here's my baby.. her name is Martha. If I was told that I could only keep 1 materialistic item that I've ever owned, it'd be this bass. I've had it for half my life and has become a huge part of me, and has been through a lot with me. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I also play a PRS (Paul Reed Smith) Custom guitar. (Very badass, highly recommended)

IDK if you count Fruity Loops an instrument but I use that a lot...

Music is my abiding passion. I've played piano since I was 4 years old, and I've moved on to instruments like violin, viola, classical and folk guitar, pipe organ (love those things!), other keyboard instruments. I play both from music, from memory, and by ear. I accompany other musicians, instrumental and vocal. I agree, nothing beats getting it right. Running a close second must be mixing and jamming with other musicians who think the same way - the chemistry is beyond description!
