your desktop is cluttered.. you should put your most used ones in the dock then make a seperate folder for the unused ones then store it in your users folder

Yeah, I've thought about doing that. It would probably look better if I got rid of some of those icons. I can just press Cmd-Shift-A if I need to get to my apps, anyway. I'm a recent switcher (3 months), so I guess I'm just used to having my icons on the desktop like my Windows computer.

Great animation in your signature, btw.

are there any free apps simular to Candybar, or any free apps simular to Shapshifter, or a way to change the gui with out shapeshifter? I don't really have money but I want my computer to look customized.

I bought an island just for giggles. My mansion is in the middle behind the trees, and Apple is building an Apple Store for me over to the right on that empty lot over there.

I got the wallpaper from the Webshots, that's how I found my island  :

http://www.webshots.com/g/32/585-sh/43708.html

You have to download their app to use the wallpaper; however, if you want to use their high quality widescreen wallpaper, you must buy their service. Otherwise, most of the 800 x 600 wallpaper are free. But the app that they use it just crap. It doesn't work very good. :(
