PS: what brand and model printer is it that you have that is not feeding the paper properly???
Have you tried soaking a sheet of paper in Isopropanol Alcohol and feeding it through the printer a few times???
The idea is to remove any old residue from the rollers and the pickup pads.

Tackled it again today. First thing, I managed a paper jam but sorted that; in process switched off and on and turned it upside down a few times , released lower casing - and it deigned to print a page. Now managed to print off the label I wanted in the first place. Looked perfectly clean inside, no mess of ink, dust or fluff. Please keep fingers crossed.
