Had AT&T call a couple of days ago. Had new service in the area and wanted me to move up to 768k speeds. Just laughed and hung up.

i think i remember someone pricing T1 access a while back, and it was prohibitively expensive to say the least.

It's probably multiple T1s multiplexed or a fractional DS3 - probably the latter. A single T1 is only 1.5Mb/s.

Still, very impressive - are you in an administrative office or at an actual store location?

I pay for 5000/1000 so this is pretty good I think. I'm planning on doubling the speed when I change jobs in March because the new job will pay for the line
