This is what I'm getting at my guesthouse here in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. Just wanted to see if it was any good.

My fastest yet! My connection is supposed to be 15mb down 1mb up but for some reason I get crazy download speeds, I've downloaded stuff at 4-5 mb's a sec.

thats the speed i get from my desktop that is connected to my router via a network cable.

are the extreme difference in speeds attributed to the wifi capabilities of my router?

Your router must suck. Mine was from my uMBP through my wifi and its amazing and really fast. But i'm going to an airport extreme and i'm running on wireless N. But it really depends on interference and distance as well. My router is in the next room and my speeds are amazing. We have a new service here with 100mb to my door so I might be switching to that sooner then later! :D
