My bikes will love not getting dismantled every time I take them somewhere with my new 2011 Honda Pilot! Pics to come.
We still have the Crosstour. Our passat's lease was up in 9 months, and we had a deal too good to pass up at honda. Financing is $490 a month for 72 months on a Pilot EX 4WD. MSRP is $33.5k. Total after 72 months is $35280.Nice. What happened to the Crosstour?
I have a 2010 Pilot (EX-L). I like the vehicle, but the gas mileage is awful (generally around 14-15MPG around town).
What you need is a hitch-mounted bike rack. I picked one up for mine (made by Hollywood Racks) and it's absolutely awesome. Not only will you not need to disassemble, but you won't dirty your interior either.

How much did you pay for your rack? How many bikes can it hold? I'm going out to lock for a new one locally. I honestly don't want to pay more than $100, because I'd rather fabricate my own(to my liking) at my dad's work place than spend more.
I started cycling for the first time in 18+ years last September. Then come January 1st this year I decided to do it for medical reasons, lose weight and help with the blood pressure. Since January, WITHOUT changing my diet and still enjoying my Guinness I lost 44lbs and it stayed off. Now that was no mean feat, I cycled approx 20-25 miles a day to and from work, but totally feel better for the weight loss. Lost so much weight my rings on my fingers fell off! I need new ones! LOL
Having said that, I've been made redundant recently [Lost my job] and I really hope to keep the cycling up, don't want that weight to come back!
cheaper PRO lenses. .
Sure, but I got 30+ years of Nikkor glass lying around I like being able to use it all, and the D3 will be the next body I believe.
Great news! Don't be as stubborn as I am. I almost got stuck on my trainer after 'climbing' on it when my wife was goneWell, I started weight bearing on my leg today (broken femur on July 8th see above posts). My knee is sore.
I did go down the basement stairs. In the corner of the finished section of the basement is my training room. I have a Computrainer. I said as long as we are down here I asked if I do easy spinning on the trainier. Maybe on the next visit! YaHoo. I am going to get back on my bike this season!
Fingers are crossed!!
