Which web browser do you use?

bobtomay, cool. I had already installed Firefox and had it in applications, but did not know about the Keep In Dock option. And I guess I'll be using it for Ebay as EBay appears to be unfriendly with Safari. Thanks again!

Problem... tried the "keep in dock" thing but after reboot, it is just a big question mark icon on the dock; not the firefox icon. Arghhhhh!!! when i click on the question mark icon it opens a box/window showing the firefox icon and an arrow pointing to the applications folder which firefox is already in - so I am lost. Is Firefox not installed even thogh it is in applications folder, and opens after laboured icon clicking? There MUST be a way to keep that icon on the dock permanently so I don't have to jump around the screen clicking every time I want to use firefox. Hmmmmmm.

Firefox

I really like Firefox alot. I did have to download an app to let me backpage with the three finger swipe. I got spoiled with that, and when Firefox didn't have it, I was about to uninstall it right away. Other then that little fix I had to do, i'm now use to Firefox. Not really too much of a differance though.

I'm so used to Firefox from using it on my PC that I decided to just carry it on over to my Mac. I love how personalized it can be. Over all, I just find it easier to use than other browsers.

A big plug here for Camino. I don't need bells and whistles, and I got fed up with FFox's slowness to get going, and then what I think was a mismatch of the last v2 FFox and the latest AdBlock. Camino blocks ads admirably (ha, ha) - but best of all it is f-a-s-t! Okay, I miss the timezone add-on but I can manage without. I can but hope that Mozilla will put a bit more r&d into Camino.

MS office is great, i fund iwork is great too, but it doesn't have database app. similar to MS Access, or maybe there is and i didn't come to know? is there any?

Flock

Flock seems alright, if you are a a real networker. I've signed into my Flickr account, Bookface, Twitter, etc, and it keeps asking me if I'm lonely, as I haven't any friends.

FireFox is cool and all, but Safari is simple and works seamlessly with the rest of the OS. Therefore, safari all the way for me But I still have FireFox just in case

Hmmmm... I don't really know the answer other than trying to re-install FireFox. But I do suggest that you take this problem to the help forums I'm sure someone will be of better assistance

I would love to use safari on my macbook but it forces itself closed all the time... ive gone to apple a couple times and harrassed them but ive just given up and use firefox. Safari works fine on my Powerbook and its all I use on there.
