Your Mac's Specs
17 inch 2 GHz C2D imac (5,1) with 3GB DDR2 RAM, X1600 (128MB memory) GPU - OSX 10.6.3
At the moment I'm using firefox 2 for 2 reasons.

1. All my bookmarks and add ons are there and I have no want to migrate over to somewhere else.

2. In safari when you right click on a link to open it in another tab it automatically selects the new tab and loads into it. This annoys me so much. I much prefer firefox's way of staying in the same tab when you open another one by right clicking on a link. And then you have to manually go into the new tab. Just a little thing but annoys me to no end.

At home on my PC I use Internet Explorer 7. Some days ago I've bought my first Mac and I think sometimes I will run Internet Explorer thru Virtualization. I just like IE as I get used to it after being a PC-user for 12 years. Don't know yet what browser I will use on my OSX. I think I should try Safari as I've never run it.
At work I have Mozilla Firefox. I don't like it much. IE is better to my opinion. I like that IE remembers e-mail addresses of people I write to. I don't need to make an address book.
I used to browse thru Opera as well. My rating is:
1. IE
2. Mozilla Firefox
3. Opera

I like Firefox for the most part, when I am logged into work over ssh, I usually use w3m for viewing company sites (monitoring web pages and such)

Sorry if this is a daft question, or if it's been answered already, but since Camino is Gecko/Firefox-based, will it work with sites that are IE/Firefox-only?

I'm happy with Safari for general use, but often I come across sites which are compatible only those browsers.

One in particular is the webmail service GMX.com, which seems strange as they've been doing a lot of advertising in Mac magazines recently... not something you would expect from a website that doesn't support Safari.

After playing with both Safari and Firefox, I'm sticking with Firefox since I'm already familiar with it from the Windows (dark) days. It troubles me that I'm reading reports about Safari not being as secure as the others. Too bad, I really like the idea of sticking with Safari because of it's native "Mac" look and it seamlessly interacts with other Mac applications.
