I can't wait for SC2 and I don't usually get excited about games.

Me and my roommate have been playing together. We're both still a little rusty ;D.

Haha.. I hear ya.. It looks amazing..

On the flip side, if I wasn't addicted to buying guitar/bass-related gear, I'd buy an Xbox 360 again so I could slaughter hordes of zombies in Left4Dead.. I've been waiting 4 years to play that game, and now that I can, I don't have my x360 anymore :(

I'm still playin with my PS2. As a student, being able to buy games at dirt cheap prices is the way to go.

Same here.. That and original Xbox.. I modded mine, so yeah.. Cheap games..

Darkwatch was good.. It looked really nice and had good response for a console shooter. Kinda short though. You should check it out, they made it for PS2 as well.

I wish some one didn't thieve my copy of Killzone for PS2.. That's the only reason I bought it in the first place.

Killzone's not bad but the AI is brutal. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. Online play was fun though.

I played Darkwatch through on Hard the other day and beat it..

Now I'm playing Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, both on original Xbox.

Crimson Skies has always been a classic, and VERY fun game to play, so I'm enjoying it.

Riddick.. This is a very unique FPS/action-adventure game. It's not just your typical run & gun-typed shooter. It has a very natural, organic feel when your character walks. Heavily relies on stealth tactics, just as much as blasting enemies. I'm almost sure it uses the Doom 3 engine as well. It looks very similar.

It also has one of the best hand-to-hand combat systems I've ever used in a FPS game before. You pull the right-trigger to punch, but if you move the left thumb stick up/down/left/right, while pulling the right-trigger, you can do different punches and turn them into combos.

This game is very good, and now I see why IGN rated it 9.3

HAHAHA Chronicles of Riddick is a great game. BTW did you know its made Vin Diesels company. I was surprised when I heard that but I watched an interview with him and his companies game studio.

I was reading down the forum and I agree Starcraft is a great game but when it comes to RTS I must say warcraft 3 is better. I was excited for starcraft 2 and diablo 3. and Now blizzard announced that they will be only releasing one of them in 2009. and its likely that its starcraft because they are coming out with the beta soon.

I just bought killzone because I cant wait for killzone 2. it looks amazing

That's what I like to hear.

Do you know if it will be a public beta?

I'm not sure man this is what I heard

"It appears that Blizzard is going for quality over quantity. COO Paul Sams has revealed that the World of Warcraft developer plans to release only one frontline game per year. This means they’ll have more time to perfect their titles, but it also that we’ll be seeing only one of either Diablo III or StarCraft II this year, not both. Sams didn’t say which one, but did mention that the StarCraft II beta test is coming in a few months, which has led to speculation that StarCraft II will be out first."

you can check it for yourself at StarCraft II or the electric playground (search blizzard and it should be the first search result.

I was really wanting to play some Diablo the other day and decided to try out Titan Quest since it was 20 bucks cheaper than Diablo II ironically.
It really is a Diablo clone with really beefed up graphics. It is quite fun.

Yeah I had mixed feelings when I found out Blizzard was only releasing one game a year because I was really excited for starcraft II and Diablo III. but on the other hand it is to make one of the games a lot better with the extra year in development (probably going to be Diablo III)

Just downloaded a copy of Crysis from the online EA Store (what a great way to get a game BTW!) and it has honestly took my breath away.

The graphics are stunning and the game play is silky smooth. Wish I bought a Intel Mac ages ago now. :)

I've been playing Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii, in my free time. Awesome game - perhaps one of the best console games I've ever played.

I've been playing Skate2 on XBox 360. I'd like to be playing Halo3, i miss having live. The story isn't fun for me, I'd rather run around and shoot at people. My next game will likely be Left4Dead. Its supposed to be pretty good, so I'm told.

Zelda : A Link to the Past on my PSP.
Just beat Chrono Trigger which was something on my to do list for about 5 years. When i was 13 I was playing it on my SNES and got to Death mountain, and this is RIGHT before you get the flying epoch and bam. SNES crashes and my game stops working. Oh it felt glorious to kill Lavos two weeks ago.

Zelda is making me so frustrated though. Orcarina of time is probably my favorite game in history, but A link to the past is just plain evil. The Forest Skull Dungeon was probably one of the most frustrating times i've ever had in a video game.
