Guitar hero world tour (still can't do satch boogie or hot for teacher on expert, grr), MGS4 (just bought and finished, best game ever), re-playing through GTA IV too.

Agreed MGS4 is the best game ever still can't get my big boss emblem. As for GH:WT I can do hot for teacher but I cannot do satch boogie. but replaying through GTA IV? I already had to do that once already to get trophies, I don't plan on doing it again

I only recently got a PS3, prior to that I was using a flatmate's xbox on which I clocked GTA. So now I have one for myself I figured I'd better do it again.

Hot for teacher I admit I've only tried twice on expert and haven't practiced. Satch boogie I can get almost the whole way through the last tapping bit by saving up star power, but fail at about 76% :(

lol the infamous 76% a friend and I would always get 76% I still get 76% to 78% now and my friend can finish the song now.

As for Hot For Teacher I failed once then said I can never be able to beat this. selected retry and did it so I was happy about that.

If you guys need help with the Big Boss Emblem for MGS4, hit me up. I can try and give some pointers.
It is actually really easy once you understand the mechanics of the game.

How do you manage the time aspect? Do you assign yourself a certain time that you have to get through each stage in? I haven't started my run yet, I'm still playing through a second time just going easy now I know what to do, having fun killing people, but it seems like non-lethal boss fights take forever, except maybe crying wolf and mantis, and that would suck into the 5 hour limit quite a lot. I'm only at the end of act 2 and I've hit 4 hours :S

There are ways to beat each act in roughly 30 minutes. However, it requires memorizing troop movement/patrols and effective usage of tranqs.
The boss fights aren't too bad really. You can use lethal weapons against them when they're in their beast form. Once they're in their human form you can either use the SAIGA shotgun with the Vring rounds (non-lethal), or use your stun knife. Obviously, doing it this way you'll be missing out on a LOT the game has to offer, but since you've beaten it already it shouldn't matter too much.

You can get a bunch of walkthroughs from youtube. Here's the one I got the most help from.

I'm not to worried about the time or the bosses I'm still trying to get my equipment. But the part before you meet up with mk.2 is very tricky to finish without having non-lethal rounds.

Yeah, that was actually the most difficult part of Act I for me since you don't have the solid eye to keep track on your surroundings.
I would save up all my non-lethal ammo for later on when you meet up with who you're supposed to rendezvous with later in the act (Don't want to give out any spoilers by accident).

You really have to rely on CQC techniques or using the stun knife. I'll try and post up short walkthroughs of my own play through sometime.

started to really see the freezing issue on fallout 3 lately.

it's not very frequent, but has happened maybe 3 out of 5 times i'll play. usually in VATS, more frequently now that i have/use power armor for some reason. luckily there is a fix that works about half the time. on a PS3, if you hold the PS button until the controller turns off, then turn it back on again, the game may unfreeze. if that doesn't work by itself, you may have to tap the PS button to try to go back to the XMB. if it does, tap PS again and the action should resume.

needless to say, i have been trying to remember to save more frequently now.

I played Darkwatch through on Hard the other day and beat it..

Now I'm playing Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge and Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, both on original Xbox.

Crimson Skies has always been a classic, and VERY fun game to play, so I'm enjoying it.

Riddick.. This is a very unique FPS/action-adventure game. It's not just your typical run & gun-typed shooter. It has a very natural, organic feel when your character walks. Heavily relies on stealth tactics, just as much as blasting enemies. I'm almost sure it uses the Doom 3 engine as well. It looks very similar.

It also has one of the best hand-to-hand combat systems I've ever used in a FPS game before. You pull the right-trigger to punch, but if you move the left thumb stick up/down/left/right, while pulling the right-trigger, you can do different punches and turn them into combos.

This game is very good, and now I see why IGN rated it 9.3

Hey man, Starcraft has to honestly be one of the best RTS games out there.. I have the Battlechest still, and I still play it occasionally.

I can't wait for SC2 and I don't usually get excited about games.

Me and my roommate have been playing together. We're both still a little rusty ;D.
