This site seems to run on Linux.

I'm not exactly a long time contributor to this site but I find threads like this one a little distasteful, especially when they are started by moderators.

I don't see what point you're trying to make by pointing out the server is on Linux. We're hosted by rackspace, an industry leader. If it's cheaper and more efficient to run us on a Linux server instead of a MacOSX server, I don't see why iNet shouldn't do so.

Also, it doesn't say anything here about moderators not having opinions of their own. Or here about moderators being forbidden to express those views. Moderators are here to keep the peace and their opinions are their own, not of mac-forums.com.

woohoo! for whatever you do. I do both, but mac is the #1 champion in my home. If not in yours, well, I am happy for you....for you are happy with what you've got, and that's the important thing, ain't it?

Windows. Yes, Windows. Linux doesn't suit my needs. No matter how many times Windows crashes on me. (I'm used to it, I was on OS 9 for years)
I would use my iPod to do daily backups (as I do now.) I would have Norton by my side (as I do on my Mac) with Spyware killers. Oh yeah, Windowblinds, and all that customization crap, because I'm a freak like that. :)
EDIT: It's x86. :p

Well, on my Mac, I use Safari... if not Safari I'm using IE.
But on my non existant Windows box, I would use IE out of those choices. If I can pick another browser, it will be SlimBrowser.

A fanboy is someone who defends something, and is attacthed to that something rather if it sucks or not.

i'm on firefox. it's pretty buggy, esp. in expose it shows what must be some little usually invisible helper window attached to firefox. no idea what it's for...
