Morning all. Dull and very cold here…with a WC of -16c….ouch. Settling in with a new coffee flavour…Black and White Cookie….a bit too mild for me, but in the morning it’s okay.

I’m still using the BBQ though….
Thought of the day…… I’m beginning to think Adulthood is becoming my Least desirable “Hood” to live in…

I’ve been to all and I don’t know that I would choose any of those. If Ontario maybe Stratford, perhaps north of Toronto (NOT Barrie or similar) Ottawa is great (I lived there for Carleton) and there are a number of other places like prince edward county and goderich and well, a lot of places besides.

Hamilton, well I’d stay in Toronto…

Except New York ;)

aruba is too hot. And the food and wine in Italy is WOW.

we got a peloton a couple weeks ago I have to say it rules. It’s the best exercise anything I’ve ever bought.

now I’m figuring out what ear buds to get. AirPods aren’t great for sport. I don’t know how those beats ones apple sells fare. Seems they’re behind one processor

Morning all. Sunny but very cold here…sitting at -14c…lucky there is no breeze out there. It’s so cold I thought I saw my neighbour‘s dog stuck to a tree this morning…..can’t wait to see what range is shown on my Volt.

So, hot coffee and blueberry scones are order of the day.

I usually fall into a seasonal funk this time of year….if our ceiling fan could take my weight I don’t think I’d be bored again…oh well …have a good day all.

Morning all….coffee anyone?

Already had some thanks rps but my breakfast mug-full went cold siting beside my computer, but that was okay as I also had a nice piece of banana bread to go with it that my wife baked for us yesterday.

Actually, I have always enjoyed cold coffee, and I'm not sure when or how the habit started.

The 2cm of snow we received yesterday morning has pretty well all melted even though it's still colder than normal here @ 2 disagrees C for this time of year. Lots of thick fog, the neighbor's houses are barely visible. No Fog horns sounding in Saanich Inlet. Warming trend forecast.

Hi Patrick, we are expecting warming next week. Our snow is off the roads and sidewalks but on the lawns….and it’s crunchy. Will be fun doing the BBQ tonight…iceburgers?

Morning all. Very cold here today with the worst yet to come tomorrow…could be -25c…..ouch.

So it’s hot coffee time for all who wish to partake…..

So, if I make pork tartare would that be ground hog day?

Take care out there if you have to venture outside.

Well I know it’s beyond optimistic to even think about this during this spout of cold weather…but for those planning their Spring gardens and lawns keep this in mind.…our insect friends are sleeping in the grass and beds. We have No Mow May here…as many bees sleep in the grass, so no early mowing gives them a chance. But linking your garden beds can also help them survive….we need them.

I see some extreme weather condition Warnings have been posted for your areas:

Most of Ontario under extreme cold warning, Arctic blast brings biting chills

Definitely Not ideal for barbecuing type weather --- Unless you have some sort of a Weather Shelter on your deck or patio somewhere...

TakeCare as it looks rather nasty and could be dangerous...

Hi Patrick, we are at -16c with the wind chill, but in the +s tomorrow and will hit 10c on Monday. On cold days I wheel the BBQ out just past the garage door and run it from there…so I’m protected, usually from the wind and snow.

We are very sunny here today which is good….winter can be such a drag when you are buried in dull grey skies…
