Signature Reminder

I've been noticing a lot more people with signatures that don't conform to the rules. As a reminder here they are:

SIGNATURE RULES
- You can have one (1) image in your signature
- This image can be 480 pixels wide and 80 pixel high ( IE: 480x80 )
- This image can be up to 15K in filesize
- You may have 4 lines of text in ADDITION to the image
- You may have as many links as you like, just adhere to the 4 lines rule

Please, if your sig does not fit this criteria, change it. Going forward if you're out of the rules, you'll get a PM asking you to change it in 24 hours. If you don't, a mod will change it for you


PS - There may be other instances where if you technically meet the rules, you may be asked to adapt your signature.

I don't know if "cool" would be the way to describe the sig that I'll make for an offender

After the first offense however, then I let Graphite loose on the ban button

I think rMan should stop doing that ^ , it makes it pretty hard to scan through posts! nd he does it each time. so if it is a one line post, it doesn't stand out!

WOW... you must have a 5in. display, because even on my 12 in. it fits all on 4 lines... but ok i change it again

No I have a 20" iMac set at 1600x1200 resolution. I'm running my browser at 800 width which is standard. That's what we're going on.

Going forward, try not to push the limit and you know you'll be fine. Unless you like being a jerk

Well I never got a 24 hour notice, mine was just removed! What's the deal with that? And what does four lines mean? My sig is four lines in a fully open browser but it got deleted? Checked rules and modified it yesterday to make it four lines PER RULES but was still deleted...hmmm

4 lines in an 800X600 browser window if that makes it more clear. As for 24 hour rule, that post is 2 years old. Things have changed, we now just remove sigs that don't meet criteria, there's not enough time or staff to check back on everyone.

The intent is that people aren't here to ready a giant sig. To me, yours is too long to be perfectly honest, consider this your 24 hour notice. And WHY are you digging up a 2 year old thread?
