The best feature for me so far is Exchange 2007 support. It was a breeze to setup and is working perfectly.
The wireless link to my time capsule died after loading SL. Not the end of the world.
I had a system that blocked flash adverts with Safari 4, I have no idea where I downloaded it from (anno domini). Pithhelmet is not available for Safari 4, Softonic appears to be permanently down. The Firefox add-on has continued to work, so the lack of a Flashblocker is the only negative I can find.
Before anybody goes for my jugular, I've spent two days searching all types of forums and websites. I have therefore come to the conclusion that the answer is stuck in front of my face, or this is all a bad illusion.![]()
Any sensible suggestions happily accepted.
You mean I wasn't the last one to get SL? It sure felt like I was the last one. Finally got my copy today, installed it as an upgrade and there was no problem nothing lost, just need to update some of my apps.

Yeah I guess not,You mean I wasn't the last one to get SL? It sure felt like I was the last one.
I got everything working here but I have refrained from reinstalling quite a bit simply because I didn't need 50% of what I had installed before. I managed to get most things working but I'm still working through FTP issues with Espresso and various Python issues including Pydev (with Eclipse), dealing with the transition to 64-bit Python as the default and problems with py2app. Some other programs are working but are betas such as Cyberduck so I'm waiting for final and stable versions for those.
Anyone else seeing a ton of spinning beach balls since the update? It seems to happen most frequently while using Firefox.

I set it up through Sys. Pref. as I don't have access to the router. Works great here as it did with Leopard. What was happening with the MediaSmart? Are you using OpenDNS by setting it up in Network settings on your Mac?
I was using it on my router, but had to pull it off as my HP MediaSmart does not play nice with it.
I have gotten a few but they are fairly isolated. The one thing that is concerning me is Flash. It's always been a concern but it seems worse. WebkitPluginHost is using about 60-70% of my CPU on top of Safari which uses 25-50% for a simple YouTube video. I know Flash is bad but not 85-120% CPU usage.Anyone else seeing a ton of spinning beach balls since the update? It seems to happen most frequently while using Firefox.

That's quite odd. As tedious as it sounds, you're probably better off adding the server addresses manually to each machine if you really want OpenDNS. It's not like that would take long but it's not quite as easy as adding it to the router. No access to the server from any computer in the house, XP, Win7, or OS X as soon as I put OpenDNS addresses in the router. Took me 2 hours to figure that one out when I first got the thing a couple weeks ago. After I got it all set up and working, tried adding them back again. As soon as I add them, the server disappears. Remove them, the server pops back up. It's the only machine I have that does this. Found many reports about it after I discovered it and started searching.
