irc.freenode.net as the IRC server. You have to make an account name.

freenode.net is now set as the server and #mac-forums as the room. Just it just won't log into your chat sever. Strange as the other IRC chat channel (on a different server) I use works just fine.

So far I have the details as this:

Server - freenode.net
Chat room - #mac-forums (A little pointless if I can't log into the server)
Port - 6667. That was the one it just set it as. Should I change it?

My issue is it just will not log into the chat server.

6667 is the right port. Are you putting irc.freenode.net? you need the irc.

I might be on later. Have to get the kids to bed first... never an easy proposition on a Sunday evening.

IRC tonight! You can't use the excuse that you're doing things outside because no one wants to be outside right now ;).

Van, did anyone show? Sorry, I had to leave and was invited to friends to dinner. Got in about 9:30 PST. Checked at one point around 5:15 on my iPhone and only one there.

Again sorry and I hope a few showed.

I've been on the right time for a few weeks in a row and no one showed.

I think we need to make this easier. And have set the time of the chat. And have times like XX in the US XX in Australia or XX in the UK. Spell out the local times. Then we'll have a much easier time trying to work out when to be on. At the moment I'm still a little sketchy on exactly what time the chat is supposed to be.

SO if we have a definant time I can work on being there.

I showed up a bit late. It was a quiet night - just me and McYukon for most of it (schweb showed up for a while). Not our best week ;).

We generally do the chat at 8PM EST/5PM PST which would be 1AM in the UK and if I have this right, 11AM Monday morning on the east coast of Australia.

I have to say, Sunday evening has to be the worst time for me. Seems like I'm always doing something, be it homework or whatever. :|
