Thanks to everyone on the IRC last week, I have found, installed and tested Colloquy. Looks pretty easy to use. This week I will plan on joining from my Mac vs. that other box that sparked so much discussion of an OS that won't be named, but whose first initial is "Linux" ! :D

Strange they would be bashing OSX in there. Since they are Linux users I can see maybe some Windows comments, but bashing OSX is like bashing your close family! :D

Fanboys come in all religions I guess and the Ubuntu people are now Fanboys!

Then lets treat those guys the same as we would treat Al Qaeda....

Hey... I tried to download and run Colloquy, but everytime I clicked on the icon the app starts and closes immediately after 2 secs....

I've faced this problem when I accidently run programs that are for 10.4 and not 10.3...

But on the website it says that minimum requirement is 10.3.9.. which is what I've got...

I am going to fire up my iMac g3 with 10.3.9 and see what happens. Will get back to you.

Edit: Did the same thing here 10.3.9 iMac G3 333Mhz. I got an older nightly build that was around september 2006 and it worked.

Hi! I won't be on tonight. Feeling lousy tonight, nothing serious, just a little fever. Have fun tonight!
