ALAS MY CHILDREN.........I AM BACK!

But yeah, I had a LOT of fun.

(About the service learning trip)

The Lowell High School freshman center is divided into 2 wings. (East and West wing)
The East wing (Me) went to camp Mel Trotter which is a camp for at risk and underprivileged children, and we were cleaning it up and adding on to it before then come this summer.

The west wing went to camp Tuhsmeheta summer camp for visually impaired youth. (The name is all the senses except sight).

We built a ropes course, a mini golf course, did landscaping, painted cabins, cleaned, prepared, and maintained what was already there. Our group was responsible for making an outdoor classroom. (Which looks GREAT!) Pics up later?

We worked SO HARD, and it was so much fun.
Our group had some touchy moments because some of us are REALLY sarcastic, and some of us aren't and it can create major tension, but I like everyone in my group. My friend doesn't...but it's okay I guess.

We were on the news.

And okay, so I was in the trailer of a quad and the shop teacher was driving (REALLY FAST), and I was holding a generator. He was going SO FAST through the woods, and it was really making me angry because there wasn't good brakes and the trail was made like 3 minutes ago, and then the trailer just flipped and I hit my head on the side of the trailer and the generator came down on me. He was like "Yeah, we need to flip this trailer back over please" and i was like "UH, okay, just lift this generator off me and i'll be GOOD TO GO!"

That teacher acted like it was nothing. It really wasn't that big of a deal, and I told him I was fine just my head was really hurting and I was a little bit dizzy, but my head STILL hurts. That was yesterday morning. I've been taking advil all day though.
But it REALLY hurt. I hoped that in the end it would help him be a little bit better of a driver but it didn't. Before I rode with him I noticed how he was driving this girl around not even looking where he was going, he was talking TO the girl. He was going really fast too. You'd think with all the liability and such you wouldn't do that.
Then everyone who saw it told their friends, who told their friends, who told theirs and by the end of the night it wound up to the generator landed on my face and I almost died and the trailer flipped multiple times.
Weird.
It kind of annoyed me, but I have a story to tell.

I had a great time. I'm sad it's over. I have way more to say but i'll spare you all.

Bottom line:
I'm TIRED.
I'm dirty. (We didn't get to shower)
I'm SMELLY.
I'm happy.

Man, I had a great day today. I went in for another interview and got offered the job right afterwards! Now I have two jobs that both relate to work experience for when I get out of college next fall.

I also power-washed the fence for my aunt so we can re-stain it here on sunday. I worked up a good sweat and now have a decent tan going. A little hard labor never hurt anyone.

Rumblings of my old band getting back together have started up.

Started with an imprompteau jam session this past Tuesday, and now it's looking like full blown reformation is in order.

I bought a parts nano 4gb off of ebay for $10.50.

Totally broke it.

I am angry.

I accidently broke off the little black connector for the screen.
Still syncs with my mac, but no screen. I guess that logic board is toast too.

Shame. I'm SO MAD at myself. I was excited too. A black clickwheel on a white iPod looks cool.

UGH.

Hey guys made it home from the hospital yesterday but didn't feel like getting online. Feeling pretty good this morning though. It is hard to swallow anything, even water. I can't have any solid food, which is really bad for me. I am starving to death!

Glad to hear that things went well.
Actually I made that post from my iPhone. But M-F was the only site I went to!:D

Nice
avatar.

I'm still trying to get this iPod to work, but no luck.
I guess I messed up that logic board too. :(
What a waste of $20.50 i'll probably never pay my dad.
The same seller has some more on eBay though, he was a really good seller. From Hawaii.

That's pretty much all I have been doing for the day. Oh well, I had nothing planned anyways.

I've got this little, ratty PowerBook G4 12" sitting on my desk.

No OS, and it won't take Leopard.

:(

Oh well, time to go gets me a copy of Tiger from our horridly out of date Micro Center.

How did a PowerBook make it's way to your desk?

Anyway, I'm looking for a picture of a microwave.
It's a long (weird) story, i won't elaborate.
