I ate trout, sweet corn, salad, and a roll for dinner. Very delectable. :)

After dinner I made dinner for tomorrow, sort of. I got all the vegetables, broth, and seasonings ready to go in the crock-pot... I'm making stew tomorrow while I'm at work. :)

hey, how is everyone else doing this fine evening (atleast its a fine evening for me right now). I'm sitting here, watching pinks on the speed network, and a guy just lost by half a car length with a 5 1/2 car length head start, now he wants a 9 car length head start, a little silly if you ask me.

pinks is awesome!
I normally watch it but had a 2 hour hockey practice tonight
how many lengths did he get?

RadioShack transfered me down to my college town for work a week early. So, I have to stay at my cousin's house until the dorms open back up. Well, the damage from the New Year's party was still in the air (and on the carpet). It was very difficult to sleep when the room smelled like vomit, stale beer, and smoke. So, today I decided to just clean everything. And it smells so good. I can breathe and walk on the floors without my socks getting dirty. It is so great. I guess the moral of the story is that you truly don't know the value of a clean house until you have to live in one that isn't.

It sure is nice to have it clean, isn't it? There are few things I hate more than dirty stuff. I like things to be like new, except clothes - I rarely buy new clothes, and most often buy out of necessity instead of want.

I just figured out how to print from iCal. I feel like a retard now, lol. I've had a Mac for over a year... and I have used iCal since I got it (much easier to work than Outlook!) and now have a way to share my schedule with my wife (other than her accessing it via .mac...). Good thing I fixed my printer yesterday. :)

Well M-F,
I took the rest of the day off, because guess what i got? This. Yeah, It's pretty much the worst thing ever. I can only chew with my front teeth, I can't close or open my mouth all the way, I can't move my mouth in any direction except to open it and close it, for 9 months. So it looks like im going to be eating very little! Maybe i'll survive on Fiji water and Altoids lol jk, but it is very painful, although im sure i'll get used to it. The alternative was jaw surgery which I have been told hurts even more. On the upside when I got home i was greeted by a package at the door, which was my 4th gen iPod I got from Rabbit, so that's cool. I'll never fill up 20GB though, I only have 3 gigs of music on my entire library! It's nice to have an iPod with a screen, i mean i LOVE my nice orange shuffle, but sometimes i like to see what im listening to. I might just break down and pay the whopping $30 to buy a clickwheel for my Mini and a CF card, mostly because the Mini is smaller. But this 4th gen is pretty nice! I would buy new but I'm still not very fond of the new Nanos, i'm just looking for a small rough and tumble iPod.
Anyway, hope all is well with everyone else!

My parents are selling me a 1990 Toyota pickup for $500. They don't really beleive in giving gifts, except at Christmas.

And they don't have to worry about me getting in a high speed crash- the thing barely hits 60 MPH. :p

Well good deal!
My 16 year old neighbor recently wrecked the 2004 sunfire his parents bought him, now he is driving his moms purple minivan hehehe. Serves him right, every day when I go get the mail i see him driving like a bat out of the underworld, nearly took out a girl on crutches, and splattered his sisters cat. Poor cat, now another statistic, Every year X cats are lost at the hands of spoiled brat children driving carelessly.
Sorry i'm ranting, bad drivers annoy me.

My parents sold me a 15 yr old Pontiac Bonneville with over 150k on it for my first car for $500. It did hit over 100mph though - I kinda miss it!

I'm thinking about getting an Aiport Express or Extreme for my room. I'm currently renting a room in someone's house. The router is in the basement, I'm in a guest room about two floors up. Do you think setting up one of these would help boost the wireless signal a bit? Or would I have to set one like in the middle floor or something?

The Airport Extreme-N is awesome. My signal strength used to be fairly weak (about 40%) across my house, but with the Airport I've got full strength. I love it...

Basement location is the worst possible spot for a wireless router. Generally, the higher you can locate it, the better the overall signal will be. You will definitely want to get a booster to try to extend the signal if the landlord won't move it.

Howdy all, I am back from my Christmas break and from the avalanche that awaited me when I returned to work. I have dug out enough to have some time to enjoy Mac Forums again! I missed you all. It is great to be back!

Can't wait for Mac World. With the new Mac Pro already out (I assumed it would be announced at Mac World) I am left wondering they have up their sleeves for Mac World. It must be pretty good to have dispensed with the new Mac Pro ahead of time. What a great time to be an Apple user!!

6 more days until i'm allowed to eat again! Until then its protien shakes, yogurt, mashed potatoes, and other general mush. Not fun.
So the Mac Pros are up to 8 cores already? Well one of those would make my "PowerPC G4" seem like a "PowerLessPC G4", but yet i will admire those Pros from a distance...........a VERY far distance indeed.

How are the people today?
