No weekend plans here, and any that I might have had just went down the drain.

I'm ticked. Took my truck down a seasonal highway, all the snow had melted since its been so warm here lately. It was a little muddy, but I had no problems until I hear a loud thunk, and the rear end kicks out sideways. I stop the truck, and get out to look, the gas tank fell off. It fell the PINK BANDANA off the truck. There was the truck, and there was the gas tank, completely not where it was supposed to be. On top of that, I almost ran it over, and it was leaking.

Holy cow, Stretch! Did you get it checked out by a mechanic before you bought it? If so, maybe they'll give you a break on fixing it, seeing as how they missed the problem?

Wow thats terrible! when you bought it did you get any kind of warranty? I am sorry to hear that.

Thats SO weird! I would be P.Oed.
I have never heard of a gas tank just up and falling out of a truck, that is so crazy. That would put me in a bad mood.
Hope it works out, what kind of truck is it?

If my MB gets sent away to get fixed this weekend, do I have to take out my 3rd party ram and put back the apple one it came with...before I go to the genius bar?

I would strongly recommend that you do. You don't want to give them any third party add-on to blame it on. IMO, it has nothing to do with memory - my guess would be heat, just based on the picture.

Okay, I'll switch them out tomorrow before I go. I'm so glad I finally got an appointment.

I just did what I think is the coolest thing I have done all month!I had one song on itunes in mac and had it open on my laptop (vista) via sharing. While it was playing on my mac I had my laptop hooked up to my stereo. I figured I would try to sync the music on my laptop to play exactly with the music on my mac while it was playing. Sort of a ghetto surround sound if you will. Anyway I got it on the first click compensating the mouse lag and all. It sounded so cool. I'm sure one person at least will think "big whoop" but I thought it was cool

Oh, and vista crashed when I shut it down 2 minutes later

As far as the tornado's go it seemed pretty crazy. I'm not too close to vancouver but it was all over my local news none the less

It came with a 2yr, 26k mi warranty, but not sure if this is covered. That was my edit

Its a 2000 Ford F-150. It better work out and pretty fast too, otherwise the dealer is gonna get alot of bad rep.

Well with a 2 Year 26K Warranty they had better cover it. I have never heard of a gas tank falling out until now. I am not sure if that would be classified as power-train or not but either way you just got it so they had better fix it. Oh and nice edit stretch. Definitely got my attention

If it's not i will send them a plate of cookies with laxatives in them.
Someone I know bought a brand new Pontiac Grand Am, and the transmission kept going out over and over and over and she even had it replaced, but the new one went out too! In the end Pontiac let her trade it in for a G6, all she had to pay were some small fees..

Man, I'm so close on calling in a noise complaint on the neighbors. They have been playing GH3 REALLY loud for the past 4 hours. I could barely watch my own movie in the living room. Their living room wall connects to ours, so that's why it was so loud.

Now I'm in my room and I can still hear the bass, bad enough that I can still tell what song they are playing. This is the one thing that always irritates me because it seems to happen to me all too often. Somehow my roommates can sleep through it, but I can't.

Man im tired

Just finished performing an acoustic night for a friend whos leaving. Im a regular in his pub and its going to be a shame when he leaves (Monday). A simple gig though made him very happy and im glad we could be a part of his memorys

Also got a nice new random picture of me and my gf from it

Sounds like a nice and relaxing day! I watched some TV all day. Read for a couple of hours in a book. Ordered a Speck Black Case for my MBP with my 50 dollar Apple gift card that I received at Christmas.
