I sold my Mac Mini today for a song. :(

At least I was able to be an enabler for someone looking to kick the Windows habit. I left him the address for the forum here, so hopefully he joins.

On the upside I watched some football today (although my Seahawks lost - but it was expected, so I wasn't really down about it), and spent a few hours with my 5 week old nephew.

Well I just woke up, I slept for a great 12 hours last night. It was so awesome, usually I will wake up for some reason and not be able to fall back asleep.

SWEETNESS! I've just entered a new realm of technological ability. I discovered how to transfer files to my motorokr. Never used bluetooth before. I'm having WAY too much fun (and using up the memory so fast I need to go buy a memory card SOON!!!) :D

Think of it this way: you're making more cash today so you can buy whatever is announced tomorrow during the Stevenote. :D

Greetings! It's a dreary Monday afternoon here, 2:45PM or so, 43°F/6°C, overcast. Sorry I haven't been in the B&G much lately. Been busy and visiting other threads.

TS, sorry your hours got cut back. Saw when you posted it, but couldn't respond at the time. On the positive side, that's a great photo of you and your gf!

Hi everyone else!!!! I hope you're all doing well.

Have fun with Bluetooth iKitten! todd51, good luck with the noisy neighbor. W00t on the new car kman445! Tanner31593, only two more days of mush? Hope it's going well for you. Hi MaDDoG and nukemm! Hi MHC! Stretch, so sorry about the BOUNCY FRILLY gas tank. I'd tell Ford they could go TIPTOE THROUGH THE TULIPS. O:) Netty, hope Macky will be okay. jmsearcy, I'm with you on spammers. Ryan13, hope you're well. Paddington sends a High 4 to Hobbes! (For those who don't know, guinea pigs have only 4 toes in front (and 3 in back).) I'm making my way up through the posts, and TS, your gf is *very* pretty. Be sure you treat each other well.

"Hi and hope you're fine!" to everyone else.

I'm creating another photo book w/ iPhoto. It's of the three trips we took to Williamsburg, VA over the last year. The first one was before I came here to M-F, over the 2007 New Year holiday; the last two I mentioned here and in other threads. I have around 500 photos to wrestle, and found that iPhoto will help you do minor image rotations very easily!

Gotta go for now. Will bounce around the forum for a few minutes while the kiddo naps. ^_^

Thanks, mathogre, mush sucks. But its getting better i guess. At least i've lost a couple pounds, but protien shakes don't taste very good.

The beginning of the week today,
ugh.
I awoke at 2am today to find the cat on top of the bird cage with the bird going crazy, haven't been able to sleep since. Trying to find a modem script for my clamshell, and working on an Economics presentation about dead people (I have no idea why we are dong it for economics...). Working on my powerbook picture frame until i accidently ripped the LCD ribbon cable trying to detach it from the hinges, oops. Attemping to do some practice on the trumpet which is hard because of this metal death cage in my mouth, and studying for an exam in the basics of french. My PowerMac is slowing down on me and AOLConnect is doing some weird things, but i'm sure i just need to restart again, crossing my fingers for satellite internet soon, and doing some other stuff.

I saw the movie Juno on saturday, it was SO funny, i loved it.

Pretty much all is well here, is it for everyone else?

So, lets recap my day.

Went to bed at 1:12 AM while FCP wrote my movie to an mp4, saying it had 2 hours remaining. Set my alarm for 4:30 AM to check to make sure it worked. I wake up at 4:30, take a look at my computer, and the log says 21 hours remaining in writing files. I'm annoyed. I reedit my entire movie in imovie quickly so it sucks and sleep for a half hour. imovie gets it saved successfully. I take a shower as iSquint converts it from .mov to .mp4. I get dressed, go through 4 blank discs that don't work, burn it finally to a random one and copy it to my flash. Then I drive to school and almost get hit because I'm half asleep and didn't see this guy pulling out.

Presentation went pretty well. Movie turned out alright for last minute imovie fix. It didn't have any menus or nice titles (it was a newscast) so it was kind of hard to understand without the little bottom third frames. Kinda disappointed but when I upload it to youtube it will be full blown.

Was half asleep all day and half the kids in my physics class thought I was drunk. Got home, ran two miles in the snow in shorts :D

Ate some awesome dinner and did some random stuff before now. Gonna be sleepin' soon.

Not a bad day, but still disappointing.

Todd51's Day:

Awoke around 9:20 to find out I had homework in my first class of the day that I didn't do. Luckily he didn't collect it.
Came home to eat lunch.
Went to my class at noon.
Came back home, started coding my personal website in HTML/CSS.
Did the homework due for class tomorrow.
Watched TV and ate the rest of the night.

Now wishing I could go to bed, but once again, the neighbors decide that they have to talk extremely loud. What I would give to be OUT of college and in a nice quiet area with a decent job. It's starting to get a wee bit ridiculous with the amount of things I put up from stupid people.

On the bright side I got a couple of emails back for some phone interviews for summer internships! Keep your fingers crossed! :)

I've got a question and was wondering if I can get some opinions. I didn't think this was important enough for a thread. Right now I'm faced with two decisions. The first is to keep living my current way of life. Working 50 hour weeks and having no social life (I'm 22 if this helps at all). However I have my own place and the freedom that comes with it.

My other choice is to move in with my mom for a few months save up and then go to hawaii to live with some family members and in 1 year go to community college. My social life would be great as I already have some acquaintances there and people are a a lot friendly there in this part of Oregon. I want to go to hawaii but feel like I am making a bad decision for some reason. Any ideas/input?

Thanks!
