Haha, I wish... I could plan the whole thing, that wouldn't be a problem - the money would be! Even with you providing accomodation! =P I don't even want to think about how much that would cost... I'll go to America one day, when I'm rich and famous =P

I have a Canon A540. It has a night setting but that picture looked worse. The picture above is on auto setting and no flash.

I asked my mom today, she has she hasn't done any christmas shopping at all. Meanwhile, my grandmother has already bought, wrapped and ribboned her gifts.

Of course, don't forget the real reason for the season!

and BTW, Stretch, that is so totally my dreamhouse now. :D

Hey everyone!!

Soooo.....remember my ex b/f?? Well, I'm still good friends with his friend's girlfriend. Last night I was talking on the phone with her and I found out a lot of things. Turns out my ex is still drinking, getting high, and (what shocked me) he's using drugs. Meth to be exact! All his friends use it, and have been doing it for awhile now. I was so shocked! I never knew this. But at the same time I was happy because now I know I made the right choice with breaking up with him. I used to feel guilty about it but now I don't. I'm so glad it's over and I'm not having to deal with him.

On a happier note, :) Tomorrow Nick and I are going to Disneyland again. I'm super excited, it should be fun!

WOW, Girl! Did you ever make the right move and I'm sooo happy for you!

Sweet digs, Stretch.

I have never been to Disneyland in California. Come to think of it, I've never been to California at all. It's at the top of my list of states to visit though. I have been to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. That is a pretty fun place to go also, no matter how old you are.

I started cleaning out my room today. I was busy for a good 2 hours and filled 2 trash bags of stuff that has just accumulated on my desk and drawers over the years. Tomorrow I'll finish going through some stuff and hopefully get the wallpaper peeled off of the walls. After that I can start painting it. Hopefully this project will be done before we leave for Texas for Christmas. We leave on Saturday so I'm thinking I can get it done by that time.

Well, I should head to bed or else I'll sleep in too late tomorrow. Last night I watched the first season of Dexter until 4am. Naturally, I ended up sleeping until 2. I can't let that happen again or this nice long break will be over with really quickly! :)

Aaah something just happened to me today that hath made me giggle somewhat ^_^

My friendy phoned today to have a look at the printer, it kept saying paper jammed when there wasnt...

Quick investigation later, there was... a jam...with... a ruler :|

Yes the Paper jam was based around a plastic ruler :p

Aaah life is fun

People can do simply amazing things with printers. I am quite impressed, too bad you don't have pictures of it.

Definitly was something unexpected, i thought there might be something physically stopping it... but a ruler?! Thats a new un' on me!

Anyway, not in a good mood now lol, my Xbox 360 randomly decided that it no longer wants to connect to Xbox live

setup is

Xbox 360 > Wired ethernet > Desktop PC (Windows) > Wireless to router/internet

All of a sudden my xbox wont connect, it says there is a problem with the IP address yet everything is set to automatic (DHCP)
The ip addy that the Xbox seems to be getting is in such a random range compared to everything else on the network and i have no idea

Anybody with the same setup as me, can you post how you have yours working?

Thankooo!!

Some of you may know that I just moved into a new apartment. Its an old carriage barn, and 1/4 of it is mine. I love the place, and many people have been asking me when I'm gonna move out so they can have it. But enough with the story, here are the pics of the living room and kitchen.

Those are empty for a reason, so the guests don't empty them. The full ones are hidden away ;)

The place looks nice and cozy Stretch, I'm jealous. :) How are you liking the Wii? I was boxing earlier with Wii Sports, man that is a workout if you haven't played it in a while. I really would like to try out Super Mario Galaxy, I hear it's pretty good. I also want to rent Resident Evil: Umbrella Cronicles, it looks like a decent game to try out for a bit.

Wow, that looks like a GREAT place Stretch. It has real character. Enjoy it!

Winter Storm and Interviewing Storm

Hi All, I have been "off the air" for a few days. I went up to Toronto to visit family there over this past weekend and got stuck there in the massive snow storm. It was something. They are calling it the worst December storm in the Toronto area in more than 60 years. Toronto got more snow in one day than they normally get over the whole month. I heard that it was worse up in the Montreal area (was it, MHC?) and that the Maritimes (where I am originally from) got hammered as well. It is good to be back in St. Somewhere, where the sun shines all day long! :D

I am off for a full day of interviews tomorrow on that job opportunity I mentioned last week. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed. Tomorrow will be quite a marathon, but quite aside from a potential job offer, once I get back home, I am on Christmas break until Mon 7 January. YEAH!!!!!!

Well I'm on day 2 of working on my room back at my parent's house. The wallpaper is finally off and I have washed all the walls so most of the adhesive is gone. Now all there is left to do is paint which will take me about half the time as the wallpaper.
