Netty, good luck to you as well. You have to ultimately make the decision that is best for you. If you fill the need to look else where for affection then perhaps the person you are with is not right for you and it is time for a change. Only you can answer this though and I wish you the best.

I know and it's the hardest decision I've ever had to make.:Grimmace:

You are all so great! I love M-F ::::group hug!!::::: ;)

how did your boyfriend react when he heard you were going out with another guy?

I think if you are truly happy with the new guy, then just because you been with your boyfriend longer doesn't mean you have to stay with him. If it means you are going to be happy then go with the new guy and be happy.

( i missed so much while i was gone! I should check in here much more often)

Umm....my boyfriend doesn't exactly know. I told him I was going to D-Land with friends from work. This new guy is also my co-worker. Which brings up a whole other issue...dating in the workplace? So I guess I sort of lied to my boyfriend and I understand that's not fair to him. I feel guilty and I know it's wrong...

Thanks Carol, I appreciate the advice.

I know once she actually talks to me I'll be able to get over it better. This week though has almost just pushed me to the point of getting aggravated/upset with her. I really hope I don't end up getting an angry tone when I talk to her.

Think it through first so you don't go off saying something that you'll be sorry for later. It is pretty upsetting that she won't talk to you. Nothing is worse than not being able to talk things out.

I do wish you the best in this situation and that you'll be able to patch things up. If not, barbarnette gave you some great advice. Things do happen for a reason but of course, you can't see why till later.

Seems like it would be much easier if we could see the future...but yikes, that's a scary thought!

Technically, you didn't LIE to your boyfriend, you just neglected to mention that it was a "date" with some friends from work.

BTW, at this very moment my boyfriend is not home. He hasn't called me since 1pm. It's now 10:15pm, I told him I would call him when I was home, he said fine, I'm not going anywhere.

He can't take 5 minutes from his day to call me and let me know he won't be home. I think after almost 6 years I deserve a quick phone call, right? Stuff like this happens constantly!!!

Oh what I would give to see into my future. Although I guess everyone wishes that over and over again. I guess if we could do that there would be no risk in life.

I hope things work out with her, but then again after all this I really don't see it happening. I made a promise to myself that I was going to talk to her this weekend, so since I didn't get to today, tomorrow is going to have to be it. No matter if she is in town or not, she has to know this is hurting me.

This frustrates me so much and I don't know why people do this. Are people too scared to be honest with people?
The short version is YES. Some people are amazingly afraid to be authentic. Or if they aren't afraid, they don't have enough compassion for, or sensitivity to, the other person to let them know the truth!
(On the other hand, could you handle it if she said straight out "I don't want a relationship with you"?)

I agree, it isn't likely to work out. She doesn't sound like as "nice" a person as you thought or she might actually care how she's making you feel!?

I'm really sorry for your pain, todd.

Good morning, or I guess here it's almost afternoon. I just woke up, haha. I slept till 11 today. It feels great to get that much sleep. I think I'm going to grab something to eat and then take a shower.

I actually have a lot of things I can do today. I should probably do some laundry and I have to continue working on a website for someone. Well I should probably get started on that and some homework, that way I have less to do tomorrow.

I'm totally a believer in doing more today so I have less to do tomorrow!

Well laundry is done, just need to do some homework. So far I think I'm on pace to get a lot done today, as long as I can keep my productive mood. I usually can't do anything on Sundays except lie around dreading school on Monday haha.

Hope you had an awesome day of relaxation, Mina. Back to reality tomorrow huh? Same here, I have a Physics test this week and I have to get a 10-15 page paper done sometime in the next 2 weeks.

I did a lot of work on that website today, so that's good progress. I also have a couple of questions to type up for class tomorrow, but class isn't until 10 so I think I'll just get up early and do those.

Yea, I need to go to bed also, it's around 1am here. However, I slept in TOO late this afternoon so I'm not tired at all.

Hey everyone :D

Just finished my first lecture (MATHOGRE HELP :D :D) and wow, my head hurts :p

Just sitting upstairs in the student bar now with a few friends contemplating the meaning of life, seeing as the meaning of life is probably easier to figure out then our lecture!

LOL ~ I hate it when something is more complex than the meaning of life!

Well I've been to school already today and have done some homework here at home. Now I have to study for a little quiz tonight in my night class. I should also start working on some other things for the next two weeks. The next couple of weeks I have an exam in every class, plus a paper, a project for my design class to finish, and a website I have to keep working on.

The good thing is that my school's homecoming football game is the weekend when I get done with everything! So it will be a good party weekend, I can't wait!
