Wow, a whole 12 hours+ with no posts to the Bar and Grille. I just had to make this post to break the silence.

TC99, great news on losing weight without trying. If only we all could be so lucky! Enjoy it! ...but as mathogre says, pay attention to proper nutrition along the way. I remember back in university, between third and fourth years, I unwittingly became clinically malnourished because I was eating so little, and what I was eating was a long way from nutritionally balanced. So, be careful.

I've been losing weight (had about 20 pounds to lose) and it came off pretty easy over the past few months.

I agree, the main thing I've had to watch is that I get adequate water, protein, and balanced meals (ever so small though! :Grimmace: )

Feels good to have the extra weight off. Now everyone is telling me I need to "gain" weight and that I'm looking too thin! Oh well....I think it's healthier to be at a lower weight than over weight so I'll hang in there where I am. :D

My dad's side of the family is always telling me that I'm too thin and I never eat. It gets on my nerves cause I know I do eat.

As long as you are watching your nutrition, enjoy being thin Netty. Believe me, it gets more and more difficult to stay that way as you get older!

I think they say that because everyone on my dad's side is a little chubby. :) My mom's side of the family never tells me anything and they are all normal weight.

Congrats Carol!

I'm having a great day today. I sold two phones, one right after the other, so I've been entered into three drawings for some more phones. That would be awesome to win another phone along with the Motorola Q that I already won. If I win in every drawing and sell the phone I already won, I'd be able to make about $1000 on eBay.

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a good weekend. Last night was pretty fun. The party I went to ended up going through 11 kegs. The lady friend and I didn't get home until 4:30 this morning. Woke up around 9 to go walk back to the house and get our cars. Now I'm just kind of sitting around, I have to study tonight for a test tomorrow.

Well I'm back from class already this morning. Now I have to find something to eat and then I have to study allllll day for my business class. I have a test tonight and it's going to stink. It's worth 300 points. There are 60 multiple choice questions, each worth 5 pts. a piece. Unfortunately for me, I usually can't guess a MC question correctly, even if I narrow it down to only 2 answers.

I feel your pain todd. I've been studying my economics stuff non-stop. I have a microeconomics and a macroeconomics course so my head is spinning with all of the information I'm learning. They're 300 level classes, so they're still somewhat basic, but it is just so much information. On the macro side, my head is filled with stuff about interest rates and money supply, and on the micro side, my head is filled with stuff about indifference curves and budget constraints. I swear, if I didn't read each chapter twice, I'd be completely lost.

Wow I don't think i would be able to handle taking both of those classes at the same time, I think I would get confused with the material!

WOW... Good Luck to both Todd & TC99. Man I hated Economics Classes back in college. Used to fall asleep in all the classes ;P

Mind you I only had the lowest level possible as an Elective class, and man I was bored out of my mind.

I actually might be going back to school next year. If that happens it will be brutal for me. Classes will be from 8am to 5pm, 5 days a week. Then I'd have to work 5pm to 2am.

That would be interesting. But I think it'll be worth it at the end.

Other than that all is well here. I am liking Greenville, SC its a nice city. The real work starts tomorrow so that should make it interesting ;D

Again good luck to y'all with Economics.

What is the life expectancy of these fish Netty? Maybe the place you are buying them is selling you "senior citizens"? No matter what, sounds like a bummer.
