it's definitely worth seeing the Magic Kingdom, though it's *mostly* the same as what you can find in Disneyland in Anaheim.
Oh goody! I'm much more likely to get to Anaheim than back to Kissimmee. :D

(Don't worry I'll have a designated driver ;P)

Hope everyone is have a much better week than myself. especially next week will be nuts for me.

So that the lo down on my status.

Does anyone else use Time Warner's RoadRunner Cable for internet? If you do how do you like it? I've had mine for 8 days now, and I'm about ready to rip it out of the wall and switch to DSL.
Day 1 - dial up speeds, when it connected.
Days 2-6 decent speeds, with a drop in speeds every so often.
Day 7 - dial up speeds, when it connected.
Day 8 - no connection this AM, works when it feels like this afternoon.

I've called numerous times, all with the same answers. Have you restarted your modem recently? Emptied your cache? Are you using a router? What OS are you using? Can you plug your computer directly to your router?

I'm not sure which idiot decided that this stuff makes a difference, but my OS does not matter, in fact none of the questions your moronic minions have asked me are the cause of the problem. The problem is with your crappy service.

To which they answer, no, it can't be, but we'll look into it.

Wow, I'd really like to beat the living crap out the the people at Time Warner.

How is your cable modem connected? They should have installed a splitter between the main feed to your home and the rest of the runs to your TVs. That splitter should feed your cable modem and the other output should go to the main splitter that runs to your TVs. If that isn't the case, that could be the cause of the slow speeds (too much noise).

If the signal isn't very strong (type your cable modem's local IP address into the browser bar to see its configuration page), you may also need to add a signal booster.

As far as questions relating to the OS, be sure to tell them that you have tested with multiple machines, including Windows, Mac and Linux and the results are the same - even on clean OS installs. That usually moves them to a different line of questions, more specific to the service itself.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been able to post in a while. I've been so busy with school. The new lady friend has been keeping me pretty busy as well. I hope she wants to do something tonight. We really haven't gone out on a "date" yet, just kind of meet up late at night after our long days and hang out.

Other than that, life is pretty good. Very busy, but good nonetheless. I hope everyone is having a good Friday and I look forward to posting a bit more this weekend.

I know what you mean about the rain. Yesterday it rained in the evening for about a half hour and everyone was so happy!

Start a thread in Buy/Sell/Trade ~ maybe someone will bite!?

Good evening! I'm still technically on vacation, and will be until Tuesday. ^_^ Accordingly, today (Friday) I didn't work, and tomorrow I'm off too!!!!!! (I like my job, and I enjoy working Saturdays - empty building and all - but I like time off even better.)

This time off allows me time to prepare for a new Dungeons and Dragons campaign that begins a week from tonight. Whee!!!!!! The character I'll play is a male human druid with a wolf companion. We're in a northern area prone to harsh winters.

Hope everyone is well!
