Do you know if he like watching whales? As for the sea sickness, it is more of motion sickness. I have found if it bothers you then look up a little bit more. For some reason if you look down, it bothers you more than if you look up.I was thinking of surprising Nick with a little whale watching trip for Valentine's Day. I went online, googled it, found the place that does it. I live right near where the gray whales swim through every year.

The only reason I ask, is my wife want to go, but I don't care for it.
Thanks for the link - I may have to bite the bullet and go. As you know sometimes you have to compromise.
If you want to still surprise him. Pay with a credit card, then you might still have an option to cancel.
I already posted this in my thread, but I figured I'd post it here too:
Well, my first article is being published in today's (Wednesday's) newspaper. I feel that the editor kind of butchered my message. He just dumbed down my language so much. My original message was, "Look, I'm not calling you dumb, but not accepting evolution is irrational. Don't let your religious beliefs impede your ability to use reason." But the edited article seems to have a message more like, "Come on now people, let's accept evolution already. Let's come together." He also took out my favorite part of the article, where I compare literal interpretation of the Bible to literal interpretation of Animal Farm. He also changed the part where I say, "evolution is a truth" to "evolution has a strong argument." It doesn't matter if evolution has a strong argument. That's like saying gravity has a strong argument. Both are simply factual realities of the empirical world. Saying it has a strong argument implies that there's still room to reasonably disagree, which I don't believe.
I don't know. Tell me what you think:
Here's the newspaper version:

And here's my original version, which I've posted up on my blog:

Which one do you think makes a stronger argument?
