I know. Thanks guys. I'll be sure to tell you all about the Leopard party at the Apple store, and post lots of pics of the new iMac.

I may not have a shiny new iMac, or a shiny iMac for that matter, but I'm typing this on an iPod touch! :)

I think I'm gonna love it too. It will be a huge speed boost over my current iMac. But I'm not sure if I want 2, 3, or 4 GB of RAM.

Go for 4GB of ram, you can never have too much! also make sure you get matched pairs to get the best performance! Congrats on the new machine!:D

I have used this RAM in a friends macbook pro and it works great. I also used the 2GB kit in my macbook and in my moms mini with no problems.

If you prefer mac certified RAM this is a good choice as well.

What ever you go with just keep in mind that although the iMac is a desktop it uses laptop memory. Good luck and congrats once again!

I just put the Motorola Q, that I won at work, on eBay. I also threw up a thread in the B/S/T forum with a link to it. I figured it might help it get some attention out there.

Here's the eBay listing.

I have to get this off my chest, but how many of you here believe that a 4WD vehicle is "safer" than a FWD in snowy conditions?

Nope. Generally because people that buy 4wd think its safer, so they drive more recklessly. If you were to drive exactly the same way, it has its advantages, but its not more/less safe.

But I bet I can get through more stuff with my crappy fwd car, than alot of people can with their 4x4.

I agree with Stretch ~ the 4WD is safer if the person behind the wheel drives with caution anyhow.

How close are the fires, Netty??

I'll be gone until Friday, something st school.

My dad is attempting to set up thr 160GB Classic he bought. It isn't going well. Possibly because he has the most overpriced underpowered ($4500, 2 GHz) HP laptop that was ever sold 2 years ago, and he has about 6 GB left on his HDD.

He impulse bought the Classic. He'll probably impulse buy a MBP, I can picture our next trip the Apple Store
