So as you may or may not know, my fiancee is a vet student. As such, she gets to start spaying cats and stuff now, so she is in a group of 3 students who get to do a total of 3 spays, with each person switching jobs through each procedure. Anyway, her group's first kitty, she monitored vitals for, and her friend Sean did the spay... She fell in love, and brought me to see the kitty too... and I fell in love.
Everybody, meet Freyja, the newest addition to my family of kitties.
Poor kitty with the e-collar still onI took it off because I <3 her. I put it back on after though to make sure she doesn't rip out her stitches.

Funny you should mention it...I got two Guinea Pigs yesterday!Someone on Craig's List was giving them away for free...so I took them.
That's in addition to the cat, the dog...and oh yeah...the wife!
Here's the Craig's List photo...not very good...but better than nothing:

I've got two cats myself..both are about 12 and 14 years of age. My aunt sometimes brings her dog and/or her cat around Christmas. I know I'll cry like a baby when both of my cats pass away. They're really sweet. Though one of them doesn't *cough* use the bathroom box *cough* like she should be doing.![]()
No kitties deserve to die. I don't think they do. I think they just move on to the next existence having achieved nirvana in this one.
