My iBook had a 60GB HD. When I first got it, I thought it would be plenty, but it was soon filled, it didn't help that my UT2k4 installation was close to 10GBs. My iMac has a 250GB HD, and I'm thinking about putting a 500GB HD in it. As much as you think you won't need the space. It will come to a point where you'll be glad you have it.
Well, if I'm not mistaken, didn't the original Core Duo MacBooks have an 80 gig option? I'm really not sure, but I recall them having a lower base hard drive than the Core 2 Duos.
Dont skimp on the HDD space, I have an 80Gb that I have almost filled up. So I'm looking for a 160Gb now.
And if you cant afford the Black MB get the White one and save some money.
in response to customer:
the original core duo macbooks were base 60 and 80Gb (white and black respectively - at least when i got mine). i optioned my white macbook to be identical to a black macbook for 200 bucks less.
