And if you disable those two options, you won't get the notification any more.
True but it doesn’t fix the problem. When I got up this morning I opened it up and actually fixed my coffee and it still had no trackpad or keyboard, also no popups. I tried my usual tapping the keys, running my fingers over the trackpad, and touching the power button. No response so I held the power button until it shutdown. Once it restarted all was fine.
I just keep seeing the issue getting worse.
I have called Apple and after an exhaustive discussion they have ordered me a new MBP which is to be delivered July 2 - 7. I have a label to send the other one back. Hopefully the new one is better.
