All 1.52 GB of it. :)

After installation, Spotlight will eat your CPU cycles for 25 minutes.
When you open the new Photos, just let the system run for at least an hour to ensure a smooth transition of your iPhoto library.
( Keep an eye on ActivityMonitor )

I have the impression that the system is more responsive after the update as well.

I just put it on and...don't see the difference. Except, yes, the Photos icon from iOS is there now. Maybe it's cooler. As for other changes, well, the computer is just as responsive as always, though it's new, so perhaps I haven't messed around enough to slow it down in the first place?

Now with all the new updates it includes and all the small feature updates and bug fixes for those that install it, we shouldn't be seeing any Yosemite problems being posted any more I guess. ;) ;)

Yeah right, cough, choke, choke, gasp, gasp…. :D

It has got rid of one niggle that I had noticed:
If I quit TextEdit it wasn’t prompting for save/don’t save the unsaved text file. It works as before now(10.9.5).

That's amazing if it was a general previous Yosemite TextEdit version or?? screwup as that's such a basic Mac thing since every OS as of day one. Odd that it was missed before.

Yes, it was just the ordinary Mac OSX TextEdit.
I only upgraded 10.9.5 to 10.10.2 at the end of March, so it fixed itself before I got really annoyed with it!

Another one of Yosemite "features" I guess, but nice that it's now fixed. I'm a latecomer to Mavericks and don't need anything later or that I'd use so I'll stay here for a bit.

I just wish all the basic stuff just worked as well as it did in SL 10.6.8. ;)

I updated from the App Store without issue. No Spotlight CPU issues either. Updated, let my iMac go through the motions until final setup finished. Now, running smooth as butter.

Only issue for me after the upgrade to 10.10.3 is Airport Utility cannot find the base station. Any advice would be appreciated.

Haha . . . . Sorry I have to laugh, because I had unending issues before this update, taking 7 whole days for Airport Utility, to accept all the input I gave it. I always got a 'Error - Try again Later' for 7 whole days, until I installed Mavericks on a new partition and went back a version of Airport Utility and I finally got myself a Network . . .

Good luck :)

Not one issue here. Install was 2.18GB. With my slowish DSL that was the only long part. Install went without a hitch.

After it finally rebooted and settled down, I for sure see a bit more snappiness. Also in Activity Monitor the Ram usage is down quite a bit from what it was before this update. Right now am running it on a late 2007 iMac with only 4GB RAM and with this update, more ram is left and things are a lot smoother!

Am very impressed.

Photos has come a ways from the betas and looks nice. Will mess with it more though, but overall like it.

I too installed the upgrade on my new iMac. All good although I spent half the day sorting out Photos and comparing it to iPhoto.

No issues here and I like the new Photos.
Had the Airport Utility problem with 10.10.1 but since 10.10.2 and now .3 no issues.

I had trouble installing it on my 2011 Mini - it took three attempts (it kept saying that it couldn't verify the download and so needed to be downloaded again) and seemed to crash during the third install. I was forced to do a hard-reset and fortunately the machine booted up, successfully upgraded. Phew!

My rMPB upgraded no problem, though my photo library is still uploading to the cloud 20 hours later.

I'll probably leave it a day or so before updating my wife's kit (MBA).

Just noticed that my first TM backup after the upgrade is a whopping 137 GB.
That must include my complete iPhoto Library .... I can't think of any other reason.

I will try it on my expendable Macbook first then probably progress from there. I have not had any troubles - that I am aware of - since 10.10.2. But I like to keep update given the security fixes this update has.
