Since my dad had the last name Conti, it became both my parents' last name when they got married. My grandfather's name is Carl, and my parents named me after him. I graduate from highschool in 2008, hence the "08."

Carl + Conti + 08 = CarlConti08

ok that was a stupid story, but there you have it, my username.

The Customer is always right. And 99 is Bears' Defensive Lineman Dan Hampton's number and he's one of my favorite football players of all time. The number should be retired.

One letter and some capitalization thrown in doesn't scream uniquity, but I rather like my name and would feel silly if everyone were referring to me as 'QuailBoy8' or something. :)

hmm... walmartconnect.

Well, obviously (although perhaps it isn't very known) WalmartConnect (r) is a dialup internet service provider from Walmart. It's really just a reskin of AOL, therefore there is instant humor value to it.

One day years ago a few friends of mine and I decided to create a fake gaming clan to use in Counter-strike since we had all gone to college and didn't see each-other much. I decided that it would be really funny if we were all named after funny dial-up providers. Therefore, the following game nicknames were born.

*ISP*WalmartCONNECT
*ISP*NetZeroHI-SPEED
*ISP*AOLforBroadband
*ISP*JunoSpeedBand
*ISP*CompuServe2000

walmartconnect is now the name that I use for just about every online account :bone:

I think QuailBoy sounds cool, You should add it to your sig - "Call me QuailBoy"

Well, mine is the first two initials and last name.

I know, it's pretty lame, and I'm thinking about reregistering with something "cooler."

So if you see the Seattle skyline again, it's probably me (at least as an avatar. Obviously those of you who are actually IN seattle will see the skyline and not think of me.)

For a while, it was one of my favourite songs by Steve Vai.

I dont use this name much now but instead use JemDna on forums which i get from the guitar model JEM and then a model in the JEM Series known as the DNA

Boring i know but it gives a little insight to me =]

Mine is a variation of a username HammerHomicide which I've been using for years in the internet world. It's actually a song by an very old Finnish metal band.
I was trying to figure out a username in IRC years ago and every possible variation of my name and/or initials I could think of were already in use and I was getting way frustrated with it. Then the said song happened to be playing and I thought to mysel ok, whatta heck, let's try that.. it's impossible for anyone to have such a name. And the name stuck ever since.

But then when registering here, I thought it might be a tad too "over the top" so to speak, and since I also happen to like rap music I turned it into MC Hammer to feel at least a bit home with my username ..... "can't touch this!" :black:

I was considering going with SirGeoffreyTilworthSplatflangy, but I think that would've been a bit too long to bother with. It's in a line from one of my favorite comedians, Eddie Izzard.

Moss, I'm going to go ahead and pass on 'Quaiboy' for now. But should I ever have to change my name for strategic sheep purposes, that'll be the one I go with.

mathogre is an anagram of part of my name. The anagram of my full name is "Evil Math Ogre Kgh-Ra", for Graham Keith Glover. I'm actually a mathematician, though my stodgy old business card for my rather conservative employer actually says "Mathemagician" under my official title.

My name is Abi, when I was wee, I got called by my full name (Abigail), but my twin bro couldn't pronounce it properly and insisted on calling me Abigirl.

My best friend in my first years of school was convinced that my surname was Daisies and not Davies.

So now, certain folk nickname me Abigirl Daisies...

i think you should have that legally changed. :)

i love the name abigail btw. when my wife and i were having our first kid my favorite girl choices were abigail, veronica, and carmen. but since we went with my boy pick (he was a boy!), my wife gets to name the next kid, and she wasn't a fan of any of those...
