How many periods do they have in this game ??
Is it 4 x 15 minute quarters ??
Canada down by one for the people with out of time stream
2 all .... Good game even though a dont understand it lol
I assume you were watching Hockey? It's 3 20 Min periods with about 15 min between periods (NHL is 17 Min, but this one seemed shorter)
Phenomenal game though, more talent on the ice than I have ever seen at one time, never seen anything like it. It made the Stanley Cup Finals pale by comparison. The last 10 min were a free for all with the Canadians throwing everything they could at Miller (US Goalie) and they almost made it. All the predictions were for the Canadians but in the end it was USA 5 - Canada 3. Not the Gold Medal moment just yet, but it was the first time since the 1960s that a US Olympic Hockey team has defeated a Canadian team in the Olympics, something to be proud of there. In retrospect I wish I had recorded it on my DVR.
Sadly though, it looks like it may be the last. NHL Commissioner Gary Betman is saying the league may cease allowing the pros to play in the Olympics. To bad. A show like todays is not one to be missed by a Hockey fan.
See you in the gold medal round, USA. We won't have our grandpa goalie, we'll bring our athlete.
We'll see. Miller is the best in the NHL right now. In a game like that one, it really all comes down to goal tending.
As much as I'm a Detroit fanatic, Mike Babcock better be hanging his head in shame right now.
