My wife and I came across this empty gallery space at the Phoenix Art Museum. She used a slow shutter speed while I ran around in circles. See my "ghosts"?

Seems like a perfectly good edit to me! What did you change exactly?

This is the statue of Charles Darwin at the natural history museum in London. Taken from the balcony using an iphone 3gs and edited using colorsplash.

I was planning on going back in the hope that i could be there at whatever time of day that shard of light coming through the window lands right on darwin, to get an ironic "god loves darwin" type shot but never got around to it.

Went and shot the pro-am before the Shell Houston Open PGA tournament last Wednesday. I was rooting for guys to hit it into the bunkers so I could try to get shots like this.

I like it. Try some different angles and bump up the exposure a bit. I find it too under exposed. Stuff like this could be used for stock image sites. You never know...

Also, either include all the utensils, or get them out of the shot. The background is a bit busy and distracts from the main subject. That includes the window frame and all that loose cabling around it, or what ever that stuff is. Perhaps also try a faster shutter speed to freeze the water more. Bump up that ISO or use flash ! (I'm sure that Kodak Easy Share can go up to at least 400 ISO without being TOO noisy).

Nothing prize winning, but I really liked this little gal. About the size of my index finger, and was isolated in some shrubbery and grass. We took a little hike in the late afternoon yesterday. The weather is getting nice so all the wild flowers are starting to bloom. This was one of them. I have so many others but figured I'd keep it real simple. Though I do have one of my wife wearing a piece of tree bark we found, on her face like a mask. It totally reminded me of MF DOOM or the Phantom Of the Opera or the Borg or something... Really neat. Maybe next time.

Roots

This tree is in Great Falls National Park in Great Falls, VA. Last year, all the roots were covered by soil. This winter we had huge amounts of snow so I'm assuming all the melt off caused some erosion and uncovered the root structure.

D300 with Tokina 11-16 2.8
7 bracketed exposures at f16 (if not, f11..can't remember)
processed in photomatix, then lightroom 2 w/ silver efex plug-in.
