When you scroll through photos, a gray box of the month # floats in the middle as you pass months by. Demoing editing photo.

1click effects, changing color, antigue, sepia, in a few clicks. Showing cards, calendars

Showing how to make a birthday card.

Deming making a calendar, click on an album, can have it more than 12 months. show special holidays. special u.s. events. Can drop a picture on a special date (birthday for example)

Now on to Photocasting

So all I have to do is click this photocast button here, I can decide the quality, actual size, or smaller. I can automatically update the album, set username and passwords.

When I'd like to announce my photocast, I say sure. It sends an email

Let's use fast user switching and pretend I'm grandma taylor. We'll pretend she got this email here. All she has to do is click on this, and boom, it launches iPhoto, puts the subscribed album here and puts the photos in it.

What is so great about this is that you can take one of these things and do anything with it. Make a card again, boom. I can make a card with one of these things.

When I change the photos it auomatically uploads them, and then let's go back to grandma taylor, and look, it just checked and completed updated them.

So these are the biggest features for iPhoto.

Next up, iMovie.

iMovie last year, we added HD. And boy was that the right thing to do.

We're adding animated themes.

Realtime effects in titles, audio tools, sound effects, open more than one project at once.

Export to iPod

You can create video podcasts there too.

So, a great release of iMovie.

iDVD, we've added widescreen menus now, so you can make widescreen DVDs
We've got something new called Magic iDVD

When you want to make a DVD and don't have time, you can bring up Magic iDVD and choose a theme, drop your movies in, photos in, photo albums in..

You push a button to create a project and push another button and it makes the DVD for you.

New themes, improved slideshows, enhanced map view editing, third party DVD burners supported.

Check it out, it's pretty great.

Next up is Garageband.

I'm going to focus on one thing to demo today.
We've added a podcast studio to Garageband.
Over 200 royaly free sound effects, 200 royalty free jingles. It's going to be the best tool in the world to create Podcasts.

We''ve added a ducking effect, automatically lowers the soundtrack under your voice and raises it when you're done. Speech enhancer, so you can make your microphone sound terrific.

So that is the podcast studio built in to the new garageband.
So again, some of the features.
It's going to be the best way in the world to create podcasts.

Now, we've got these great five applications. And what they're all about is allowing us to express ourselves creatively.
We want to share these things, increasingly we want to share them over the internet.

Today, we are introducing a 6th app in the iLife suite, to allow us to do that. We're introducing a new app that allows us to share photos, movies, video podcasts, share taste in music, blogs and other types of podcast

We call this new app iWeb
There's apps out there that let you build websites.
*Matrix of easy/hard ugly/beautiful*
There are some that are easy to use, but make ugly websites. There are some that create BEAUTIFUL websites but are hard to use.
iWeb will let you do it simply and easily.
