I have really started to enjoy coding by hand.

Now I think about it, you really don't need a WYSIWYG editor. Everything can be done with a text editor.

Even TextEdit is good enough!

I will however buy Photoshop, I need this for buttons. Although a column with hyperlinks in nice colors will be equally as nice. And will be faster to load.

I still may buy Coda, but I want to start by doing everything by hand.

Now which is the better one to learn, ColdFusion or Javascript? What are the purposes of this scripts?

With coda you have to do by hand, there's no other option. But its so very convenient, with the one window workspace.

ColdFusion and JavaScript are not comparible. ColdFusion runs on the server to dynamically create HTML, run tasks, communicate with a database... things like that. Javascript runs in the web browser to do dynamic stuff.
