Just ordered my 15" Pro.
They really rape you with tax. That was an extra $215.
I guess I did get a free Touch and printer though.
Are the new 15" Pros 15" exactly or 15.4"? The reason I ask is because I was looking at the Incase sleeves and it mentions it fits up to 15.4".
I live in MD too, I got my MBP from the Montgomery Mall Apple Store. 6% sales tax here now, so I had about $125 in tax on my purchase.Move to Delaware they don't have Sales Tax. I use to live in MD so that's where I would go a lot to go shopping for clothing.
$215? How much was your total purchase, or else where do you live? The MacBooks are actually 13.3" and 15.4", standard LCD sizes. 13" and 15" are just easier to remember, and simpler to market.Just ordered my 15" Pro.

I live in SC, but what they did is tax EVERYTHING, including the "free" iPod Touch and printer. Which is misleading in my opinion and I didn't know that you could tax online.
Total purchase price was a little over $2,000 before rebates.
Now that I'm thinking about it, will they refund the tax that was on the Touch and printer when I send in my rebate?
The Incase sleeves work pretty well right?
That's interesting because I've bought plenty of stuff on Ebay, etc and have never paid a dime in tax.
What part of MD? I use to live in Bmore. ^-^"
I live in Cali now so the tax is crazy (it's over 8%) compared to the 5% that MD use to be until they jacked it up 1%. >_>"
