I would invest it all. A savings account would probably let you break even, considering inflation. At least get bonds!

EDIT: To explain...I would invest it because I am so young. That would be a big portion of my retirement in 40+ years.

Sell my car and buy a used Insight. I'd buy a couple new 23" ACD's (and the X1900 XT to support them), a bigger TV, and a new bed. The other $10,000 I would put in the bank.

Well, first, I'd use it to get rid of the huge tree that collapsed under the weight of the ice in my backyard over the weekend.

Then, I'd put the balance into a long-term investment to save for college for my kids.

I'd buy a 1989 Honda CRX and mod it a little. Exhaust, body kit, rims. Maybe a paint job. Maybe not. I'd probably need to get it changed to an auto since I can't drive a manual (legally) =P

pay the hospital bills from the baby, pay off the last few grand on my forester, and about 10K on my wife's odessey. having the extra money from those car loans every month would be really nice.

if there was about 500 bucks left, i'd buy a ps3. :D

Buy a black MacBook (No pro for me; It would be wasteful) max out my mini's RAM, then maybe put away $1000 for myself, rest would go in the bank.

Get my Mustang painted black with white stripes, have the new hood scoop grafted, rebuild the block.

Then invest the rest.

I would pay off my xmas debt on my credit card, and then the rest into investments. 10g's in to a retirement fund and the other 9g's in to a higher yield savings account

(Off topic warning) sanity1082, your 'tar reminded me of a quote.

probably invest it, since i really don't have any debts, and school is already paid for. I'd probably put it in technology stocks.

Get myself a fully pimped out Mac Pro, and run outside naked.

You might be askin, "Why can't you go run outside naked without 20G?"
But you'd be surprised how much money you have to invest to competently run outside naked.
Believe me, I tried... thats why I'm so broke right now.

I'd do anything and everything I can to save our house from foreclosure...
But that's pretty much a lost cause living in the state with practically the worse economy (MI),
if thats too far gone i would secure an education :)
Still don't know what i want to do with my life yet though.........
i would also tell some friends how much they mean to me.
Not with money though.
That's good to do once in a while :)
